Cold cuts. I really like the ham.
Trust House to always have perfectly poached eggs.
Whoever said you can only get good pasta at fancy Italian restaurants has not yet discovered the food at Ah Bong's Italian. Located in a humble coffeeshop in Tiong Bahru Estate, this stall serves up some mean Italian pasta - for just $6! For some perfect comfort food, get the Slow Cooked Pork Ragu, Ah Bong's Birthday Pasta (spaghetti served with broccoli cheese sauce and bacon) or Ah Bong’s Mac & Cheese with truffle oil. End off your meal with some unique crème brûlée - with flavours extending to earl grey, triple espresso, and Thai milk tea. Their incredibly satisfying, extremely affordable and regularly changing menu will keep you coming back!
Good morning, folks! So excited to be heading back to this authentic cha chan teng where even the "doll" noodles are imported from Hong Kong; the taste is way different from the Malaysian-imported ones.
An original item I have yet to see anywhere else in Singapore. Featuring a pair of golden brown pastry crust cups filled with some truffled mashed potato, chunks of chicken sausage and eggs, these baked delights were tasty and filling. Included as part of the set is a glass of either orange or cloudy apple juice. Add $1 if you fancy a cup of long black.
If you're heading to Manhattan for their first installment of the Sunday cocktail brunch, make sure you sample all five of their homemade cream cheeses: salmon, blueberry, sundried tomatoes, blue cheese, and herb & chive. My favourite combo has gotta be the toasted onion bagel, slathered with blue cheese and garnished with blackforest ham and shaved asparagus.
There's new brunch items on the menu and that's one of the many reasons I'm back here.
Egg-in-the-hole is a must have and I wanna try the hazelnut waffle next time. Happy Sunday Folks!
their juicy and tender roasted chicken. served with mustard and spices. I have really grown to love this small cafe hiding along telok ayer.
