$5.50 for 10 xlb (小龙包) & $5.50 for 10 potstickers (锅贴) // Loved the xlb - the skin was thin and broth was tasty!! 😻😻 The base of the guotie was crispy & chocked full of ingredients! Definitely a place I would return for more xlb! 👍👍

Kyoto Delight ($8.80) was really good loved the ice cream especially the matcha one and the chewy mochi that tastes great rather than rubbery. There were cake bits and cornflakes at the base as well. A really sweet dessert that was good for me to share with my friend. Classic Fuji ($7.30) was a really good pastry that was warmed when served topped with vanilla ice cream which helped to balance the sweetness of the red bean at the side. Best eaten by putting a blob of the ice cream on the pastry with some red bean😊 place was really big with nice ambience no matter for studying or chatting or reading a book, friendly staff and also free water available for customers.

Really satisfying roast duck with springy noodles ($3) though the portion is a bit small for me - could eat 2 servings 😂

Pistachio ice cream on top of waffles. Excellent ice cream

Milk original with honey drizzled on a cone; didn't really fancy the milky taste that got abit heavy after awhile, would suggest opting for other flavors that have toppings to balance out the milky flavor

Cheesy baked rice with beef slices and honey chicken wings (4 per set), average fare

Everton Creamery, the newest entry in the buzzy Everton Park neighbourhood, serves a variety of gelatos to help you beat the ever-present Singapore heat. The more popular flavours include Banana Walnut, Mango Pineapple and Nocciolone (Hazelnut), but we say go for their Matcha — which uses pumpkin seeds for a truly unique crunch factor — or their unbelievably nutty Pistachio.

Situated within Burlington Square, Yoğart is the newest kid on the yogurt block. Instead of just offering the usual yogurt with various sauces and toppings, this place offers yoghurt popsicles & waffles as well. Go for their Yuzu Explosion yogurt popsicle, or satisfy your Llao Llao cravings with the Sanum-esque Yogurt Bliss ($6.20) — yogurt with 3 fresh fruits toppings, 1 crunch and 1 sauce. Best to get your yogurt to go, as Yoğart has limited seating!

Joining the increasingly buzzy Keong Saik Road stretch is Banana Tree. A boutique dessert cafe concept from Korea, Banana Tree offers a variety of pretty desserts in a minimalist, spacious cafe setting. Its glass ceiling allowing streams of natural sunlight to create a warm, alfresco-esque cafe experience. Dessert items available include their Flower Paap (pudding in a flower pot), Som Som (cotton candy) lattes and Pot Bingsu (shaved ice). Go for their creamy signature Banana Flower Pot Pudding ($6.50) and their Red Bean Pot BingSu ($12). If you're in the mood for just coffee, go for their iced Banana Som Som Latte ($7), which comes topped with cotton candy!

Club Street Social mimics an upscale Manhattan bar — tastefully decorated, high ceilings, and a wall full of spirits. The brunch menu includes a good number of items, from breakfast fare like eggs and toast, to mains like gnocchi and risotto. They do pretty good Scrambled Eggs with fontina ($12), creamy without being overly rich, and just the right amount undercooked. If you like truffle and seriously runny yolks, go for the Truffled Toast ($14). The food here is quite simple and may not blow your mind, but the ambience and concise menu hits the spot when you're feeling like a laid back Manhattan morning with an old friend.
