Pardon the image of my partially tossed noodles but I had been too eager to take a sip of the gravy and had forgotten to take a pic first. Anyway, to be frank, I found the taste to a bit on the mild side and would have preferred it to have much more of an "assam" or sour kick. Having said that, there's still a lot to enjoy about this Penang Laksa, such as the abundance of shredded cucumber, sweet pineapples, crunchy lettuce and mint leaves. Plus that there is no MSG in the slow-cooked gravy, making it a healthier choice.

A customized alternative to the default of serving the smooth rice papadelle (Kway Teow) in thick gravy or soup. Really love the excellent light sauce, oil & pork lard stirred into the Kway Teow. I could eat this on its own!
