After all the fomo-ing, ya girl finally got to try the 𝙐𝙣𝙞 𝘽𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙁𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙪𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙚(~$32), and HnnNNGgG. With glorious, creamy uni butteriness coating every surface of your mouth, I not-so-subtly went for seconds (and thirds) 🍝

Tbvh, came for their kebabs, but stayed for the hummus. Personally found their 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙝 (~$10) and 𝙋𝙞𝙩 𝙍𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙇𝙖𝙢𝙗 (~$12) kinda dry and gamey respectively. 😤

I paid close to 10 bucks for this 𝘾𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚 (~$8) with Oat Milk (~+$1) which honestly is kind of overpriced. I distinctly remember this being better, though. ☕️

The taste of coffee is unique for sure, and my choice of oat milk further underscoring that, but this was not worth 9 bucks 😫

Contrasted the rich nutty pistachio with a lighter more refreshing 𝘽𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 (~$4.20) — tasting perfect as a recreation of the coconut chocolate bar. Flavours and textures like coconut flakes and cacao nibs done perFECTLY, @apiary.sg spoils the ice cream market 🥺

The 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙧 (~$24) wasn’t stunning. Sweet barbecued glazed pulled pork was perhaps the only thing adding moisture to this burger, other than the oil of course. The prime beef patty was a let down. Dry and blandly seasoned, we didn’t even finish this.

Did I really come to Black Tap to order a 𝙏𝙪𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙮 𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙙 (~$23)? Um, yes: but I’d argue that the salad actually tastes better than the burger. Shocker, I know.

The turkey patty was EVERYTHING. Filled with delicious juices and thicccc asf, this was a unhealthy-ish complement to the heap of kale below. Throw in some creamy chunky crumbled blue cheese with cranberries and I guarantee you this tastes better than the burger.

Don’t flame me for paying $18 for an egg please. Angelina’s 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙡𝙚 𝙊𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚 (~$18) was the right consistency and all, but not a $18 for eggs kinda goodness.

Wobbly on the outside, and melty on the inside, Angelina certainly did know how to whip up a solid omelette. Though perhaps labelling ‘truffle’ on it ain’t quite right.... Sure, I smelt a faint truffle scent, but taste wise, barely anything. This begs the question: how much are you willing to pay for an egg? 🍳

Chocolate and pb lovers, this 20 𝙇𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙖𝙠𝙚 (~$24) is for you. I counted every single guilt laden layer, and yes. Twenty creamy peanut butter and dense chocolate chiffon layers

Heads up, you’ll need at least 4 people to share, and a decent amount of dessert stomach space to stomach this heavy cake. It’s not fantastic and I’ve definitely had better fudge cakes, but boi do I love the novelty. 🍰

2020 has been, undoubtedly a tragic year. But then @gathershop.co brought back 𝙍𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙣’𝙨 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚 (~$18) aka the best French toast I’ve ever had, which made things way better 🥺

Is it the same as Ronin’s? I’d say 90% so. I recall Ronin’s to be more eggy all the way through: Gather’s recreation was nearly there: just the surfaces of the French Toast lack the familiarity of the original.
