Love their super thin crust Hawaiian Pizza @wineconnectionsg. Love it thin and crunchy, without tiring my jaw. With that juicy pineapple topped with cheese and ham, well.. can you feel it?
Herbal Roasted Duck. I don't know how many herbs and spices they use, don't care how long they cook nor how many dynasties ago, .... but I'm damn sure that this dish should never give a miss when dining at 店小二。A duck roasted is crispy and golden brown when presented; its meat is both tender and juicy. It just arouse my appetite especially when you choose brown rice instead of white grains. Yummy!
Crispy Roasted Chicken. Eat it while it's hot. Before I could shoot this plate of dish, my mummy snatch the most important part of the chicken. No choice has to crop it 😹😹😹. Love the chef cooking style. Guess they understand that the basic most important ingredient is to cook from the heart. The simplicity in Chinese cooking is all about the colour, the aroma and the taste.
Yesterday's Journey - after makan at Ah Meng, headed to KSL for hairdicure , pedicure and manicure. There after have a light brunch, & this is one place you must attack!!! Assam laksa, stall D'Laksa, a dish you must try. With their big and springy white noodle, filled with chunky bits of sardine fish, and topped with fresh pineapple, bawang, slices of thin timun and a half spoonful of prawn paste, maybe a big eater like me definitely is not enough. Add on fishballs for the side dish, that will do the job. Burp! It's massage time!!!!!!
Awesome! Firm and Springy noodle, that's the way it should be. Almost 15 minutes of queueing, finally manage to savour this plate of Wanton Mee. Its shiokie-do da di.. even w/o chilli. Decided to add some spiciness into the noodle ... GOD! I feel so high! Btw, their chilli is either you love it or don't. As for me, I will double up the shiokee do da di... .... I'll be back for my $3/- Wanton Mee. My journey to the WEST. Burpp!!! cya!
AH LIM Mee Pok - come to Fishball Noodle who doesn't know about this stall. With a track record all the way from Jln tuakong, their history can be confusing and complicating. However it may be, they still serve great taste. With their explosive chilli, get ready for a ride.
Thinking of organizing a family dinner, any kind of celebrations, events or to chill out with friends, think no more. @555villathai , situated right at the end of Cosford Road, they have it all. From authentic Thai foods to mookata, live bands to karaoke, happy hours beer drinking sessions and game of darts, it's a one-stop for all. Away from the noisy city to the nature surrounding and the roaring thunder from the airport terminal, its just one unique place to chill out. Open space bistro setting for diners , air-conditioning karaoke pub for singers, darts machine for those who wants to destress, feel like I'm in Thailand. There's different bands entertain daily, too. And on certain days, they will add in magician to entertain adults and kids. If you are in the East, remember don't give it a miss.
Been staring at this stall for a long time before I decide to give it a shot. Awesome ! Never thought that I could be able to share my food journey on koufu outlets. Well, this stall deserve a recommendation for their Hokkien Mee. Using thin yellow noodle with vermicelli, this humble stall knows how to make the stock rich, having their prawns & squids fresh together with pork belly, and lard cube . I proudly rate this stall 4 / 5.
After sending our princes and princess to school, me and my queen decided to take a slow drive to Chinatown for an early breakfast. Traffic was super horrible when small vehicles trying to be like Ferrari drivers and the big cars moving like a tortoise. We are so blessed it's not our daily routine . Anyway, we had the best Char Kway Tiao at Hong Lim Market, of course. And we also narrowed down to this stall. They have the longest queue and decided to give it a shot. Love their crispy sole fish especially when you are chewing it together with your noodles. Their broth has its unique taste and again why didn't I order soup instead ordered dry. To have a nice bowl of Bak Chor Mee when having it dry, vinegar plays an important role. Is it worth the wait? Ok lah! Will I go again? Yes ! This time I must remember to order soupy. Have a great day ahead ...
When it comes to duck, who doesn't know Toh Kee, one of the oldest duck stall in Singapore. Nicely charred, yet not too oily, the crisp duck is still tender and flavourful. Drumstick is my all time favorite. Wooofff!!! I'm drooling again.
Stall newly open at Tampines St. 22. . What caught my eyes was the Roasted Duck. To give it a try, I decide to ordered a plate of duck noodle which has just came out from the rocket looking machine. I must say the tenderness of the the duck is unbelieveable. Not only is it juicy, the honey glazed duck is perfectly seasoned. I'm impressed by this Malaysian cook. While eating the succulent roasted duck, my eyes was focusing on the roasted pork . Though I'm not a Char Siew lover, I believe it's gonna be the kind of taste that many Char Siew lovers are looking for. But as for the Duck Lover, do give it a try if you are somewhere there.
Fishball Meepok Dry. After an early morning appointment, manage to take a short drive to 79 Telok Blangah Drive and catch up with this old stall. With an additional of $1/- noodle, at a price of $4/- (no GST & Service Charge) , soup refillable - where to find!!! 5 fresh fish balls and fried fish cakes, mix with chilli , I'm Power Up right now.... yes ! If you are somewhere near by remember to give it a try. At this moment, I have to say goodbye.
