Great Buffet with reasonable variety. The appeal of this place is not so much the variety though, but the quality. The oysters were great. Do check out the avocado ice cream if you have the chance to!
Great seafood with great ambience. Do get the salted egg yolk clam!!! The chilli crab sauce was great too! Great food overall!
Great duck Confit with crispy skin. The meat was fall of the bone. Great experience!
Best Salad Ever. The tang of the dressing cut through the crispness of the kale. Great power food with great taste! The chicken waffles were great too. The waffle was fluffy and light, and the chicken was a classic Louisiana style chicken. Great experience!
Great yum cha buffet. The quality of the food wasn't compromised just because it was a buffet. The soup dumplings are a must!!! Great variety and classic chinese yum cha vibes! Would recommend!
Great bingsu with great ambience! The bingsu is clean(not health wise) and crisp. There is free flow condensed milk if you need, just to add that extra sweetness.
At 5.90 for the oreo bingsu and 7.90 for the mango, this is perhaps one of the best bingsus that are within this price range!
The shaved milk was fresh, and the mangos were tart! Great experience!
The best ya kun ever! Mainly because of the great view, the entire experience was awesome. The kaya toast and soft boiled eggs were good, with the coffee bringing the whole experience to a higher level. The coffee was nutty and tang. The smokiness of the roast was also brought into the coffee. It was very complex (in the best way possible)
Great place overall!!!
The food in prego was good. The thin crust pizzas are a must, considering they use a wood stove oven. The dough of the pizza has a smokey tang which lifted the taste of the pizza.
The calamari were mundane and tasted like those served in a pub. But it was good calamari nonetheless.
The service however, was stellar. The staff were helpful and responsive; always wearing a smile
Overall a good experience but the food was underwhelming
Waited for about an hour and a half for this gorgeous. But it was well worth it. There was a lot of fish and the soup was quite good. The charcoal burning from the stove added smokiness which I thought complemented the steamboat well.
Fantastic ramen with great Broth!!!
The ramen(I chose hard noodles) was like al dente spaghetti. The thin noodles added texture to the complex and creamy Broth.
The Broth has a very porky taste. The flavour profile is that of pork knuckle, pork belly and collagen soup.
I was half expecting this to be bad, just like the big chain ramen places. But it was definitely delish!!! Would recommend!!!
I've always questioned these hypes. What could possibly be so fascinating about a beef donburi? But true enough, it was pretty good.
1) The ambience was great. Integral to every restaurant experience -I believe- is the environment. A great view and 3rd wave café style interior designing did it for me
2) The yakiniku was succulent and well seasoned. But the taste was not mature and conplex; vindicated by what I saw which was the cook carving a pink piece of beef, indicating the non aging of the beef. Howbeit, the caramelisation and maillard reactions of the protein really brought out the taste if the beef. The onsen egg was good, and the rice could afford to be slightly more developed; flavour profile wise. Howbeit, still great food!!!
3) Great service. The service staff were friendly and helpful. A shout out to the bartender(we set at the bar) who was very kind and helpful too😁
Overall great trip and relatively good value for the quality.
