Located in the heart of Melaka, its always crowded with tourists and foreigners.Best layer cake I have had...Price range is about RM9 >. Certainly a must visit place👍👍
#throwback#homemade subway dinner with greens, ham, luncheon meat & egg mayo 😋
I was expecting more out of the people who ran the highly raved The Plain and Ronin. For once, the reviews didn't worked for me. Pricey and bland breakfast. And the ice mocha lacks punch from both coffee and chocolate. However, I did had a bit of fun trying to locate the door to this place so be pleasantly surprised on your first trip.
Oh heavens, cream and salmon do go so wonderfully together. Dip the toasted whole grain bread in the pot of creamy delight and polish off the truffle fries for a super satisfying brunch this side of Saturday.
Finally, good coffee, brunch and desserts rolled into one sitting! Opened by the people at Jones the Grocer, Bécasse offered much tastier brunch fare than the former but served the same insanely delicious ice mocha (which I earlier proclaimed as the best in SG). The Croque Madame dipped in runny eggs, given a kick by truffle oil, is eye-watering good. The desserts, salted caramel tart and giant psychedelic coloured macarons, are also extremely affordable by cafe standards. Swing by when you're in Dempsey and be pleasantly surprised.
Espresso froze into ice cubes! Watch it melt in the cool glass of milk. No mocha at this joint but the ice espresso is wonderfully robust. Finally, no watered down ice coffee thanks to this brilliant idea!
The waitress said she never encountered requests for such ice cream flavour in their ice mocha before. Impulsive me did not regret the choice. The generous oodles of caramel sauce atop the ice cream, the bitterness of the excellent coffee, was simply splendid. Coffee and dessert rolled into one.
Love the ambience here and the staff were friendly as well. Had a good experience there 👍👍
$26 albeit pricey but it's worth every penny because it really stands out from the various full breakfast or big breakfast that I've eaten (like you won't feel that cheapskate stuff were used, ya know?) but the sourdough toast was a bit too hard though 🙊🙊
Iced matcha and iced minted mocha. The kind of place where you'll just keep going back.
Love the mentaiko fries, the sauce was just mmhmm and the fries were really well fried. Hehe. The pork belly although not recommended by the staff was pretty outstanding considering that I do not like pork belly. The mash sweet potato that came along with the pork belly was also pretty refreshing as well 👍👍 worth every penny. The grub cheeseburger did not fair as well considering it was one of the signature dishes, would not say it's not nice but it didn't stand out from the other burgers I've had. Needless to say, the churros was good, served together with vanilla and dark chocolate sauce. Yummy. But carol found the dark chocolate too strong and masking the original taste of the churros.
