The carbonara and burger as recommended by the staff was pretty decent but no wow factor. Truffle fries and truffle mushroom soup was also normal. Have had better ones.
Yummy food that is decently priced. Not surprising if you see a dozen of people queuing up during lunch hour. But no worries, the queue moves fast 😉
Only 2-3 weeks old and I'm amazed by what they can offer. Good food, good coffee, friendly staff, photogenic space, open kitchen concept with all the Ang moh chef, even the toilet left an impression 😂😂 they clearly made an effort in every detail of the cafe - from the peaceful and calm colors 🔵⚫️⚪️ to the rustic and wooden chairs and tables as well as the decoration of the walls and counters. So loving this place. Came during tea time on a Tuesday afternoon and I'm glad to say that it isn't crowded (yet, it'll soon be I believe). Tried the two dish recommended by the staff which is the veal burger and roast beef on rye and I'm glad to say that the food was good. I love the mixture of the flavors of the burger. The roast beef was also super yummy along with the Caramelized onions. 👍👍👍 would definitely come back during the weekends because I think they have a different menu 😌😌😌
Another cafe opened under HDB. When will one open beneath my block 😪😪 anyhoo yam cake and glutinous rice was just alright, it's the kind whereby you wouldn't visit this place if you were craving for them but I really love their chilli though. Good try on the kaya toast on English muffins. Makes me think that curry chicken burgers (literally those from toast box made into burgers) could actually be done 😂 spent a total of $18.90. This place is really photogenic 😍😍 couldn't stop posting pictures of their interiors.
Sundried tomato and herb waffle topped with bacon and scrambled taste - waffles are fluffy but taste a little too sour for my liking. But I like how their scrambled eggs is done. Magic - had a bitter aftertaste. Speciality hot chocolate - which tasted pretty much like Cadbury hot chocolate with too much milk. Mehhh 😔😔😔
Toasted banana bread with home made vanilla yogurt, toasted macadamia and Caramelized banana ($12) one happy tummy. Mega love this combination.
Truffled ravioli and Poach Eggs. One of my fave place to have brunch/lunch because their food is good and consistent (though I feel that the standard has dropped a little after they've changed the menu. Hmmm)
Crispy, buttery thick cut toast with honey. Served with fresh berries and honey yogurt ice cream.
Dinner last weekend.
The table's favourite dish of the day. Loved how tender the beef was and that it did not carry any gamey taste as well, and the proportion of beef and vegetables was just perfect that we were just craving for more! What can be better than that when it comes with sweet caramalised onions and crispy Rye?
Welcome Sin Lee Foods to the neighborhood.
Not the best photo but I truly enjoyed the meal. Just great honest flavours.
