Batter was a bit sweeter than what we get usually but the crisp exterior was rather enjoyable! It stayed crisp throughout the whole time we were feasting on the other dishes on our table.

Affordable udon place in town! Interesting self-service concept encouraging self-return trays as well.

Tastes so much better with the fried tempura bits and seaweed! Udon cooked to perfection and drizzled with popular Japanese curry.

My colleague recommended this stall and it was delicious! I got the ABC Pork Ribs soup ($3.50) and the soup was very tasty and sweet. The pork (which was plentiful) was tender and surprisingly not dry at all! The carrots and corn were also sweet, although the potato was a little too hard for my liking. The pumpkin rice ($0.80) was tasty and had large chunks of sweet pumpkin inside as well. The portion of rice was also generous - I couldn’t finish it!

Can’t wait to try the other soups!

Packed with both tourists and locals because YY simply has the best kaya buns around. Soft, fluffy on inside and lightly toasted on the outside, the most value for money snack one can get around town.

Fluffy sponge cup cake that was handmade.
Goes nicely with any hot beverages here.

It's such a rarity these days - coffee @ S$0.80 a cup, complete with condensed milk + evaporated milk.
