For people who hate or doesnt like udon. I would say this is the dish to get you started. Just like me.

The handmade udon coated in XO oil, topped with dried sakura ebi, crispy and crunchy, giving different textures to the dish. Bonito flakes, spring onions and the onsen tamago.

Having the mixture in your mouth gives you the burst of flavour coating your mouth, The Umami.

This made me like udon. Its that good.

The side i will always order when im there for ramen.

The pork is well seasoned and had a heavy smokey aroma. The charred edges crispy, a different texture compared to what happened to the pork when its placed in your mouth. IT MELTS!

Had this drink at the free flow once and thought it was pretty nice. And i bought it the next visit.

Nose: Oaky with abit of orange citrusy and pineapples.

Taste: Oaky once again. Correct me if im wrong, i tasted salted caramel in it.

Finish: Medium, pineapple notes obvious.

Easy dram to drink, slightly on the sweet side. A nice blended malt whisky.

Was at TSC doing some work and got really hungry, as if my stomach was about to self-consume. And here comes @deliveroo_sg saving the day!

150g beef patty in a brioche bun with double smoked cheese, beer and treacle cured bacon, barbecue sauce, smoky mayo and crispy onions.

Sounds like heaven? Well it is! Nicely toasted buns. Juicy patty done right, medium - medium well. The crispy bacon and onions give a different texture to the burger. It was mind boggling!

100% ill get this again! My life would be incomplete without it.

After trying the Glen Spey bottled by Berry Bros, i wanted to look for a Glen Spey to start my journey into whiskey. And this was my first.

Nose: Corn syrup with hints of custard. Very pleasant, grassy.

Taste: Quite punchy, estery. With slight notes of cherry liqueur.

Finish: Medium long, spirity.

Overall very pleasant amd easy to drink. A good start into whisky world. Very smooth beyond expectations.

I dont really like udon as most of the soup i had was on the sweeter side. Prefer a more savoury soup personally. But this is surprisingly good.

Firstly you can order a regular or large, at no additional cost. Of course I ordered the large.

The udon to me isnt fantastic, but the soup was mind boggling. Its still sweet, dont get me wrong, but the savoury out punches the sweetness. A very well balanced soup that you can drink all day.

Mass amount of pork for the price. Not overcooked. On the tender side I would say.

The tempura fish cake and crab stick is very much worth it. Priced low, I would even say.

So this whole set you see in the shot is what ive ordered. And its only $15.80! I left the place bloated!

Will definitely come back here again!

Decided to join a bunch of friends from TSC for a whisky night at The Auld Alliance, they offer about 1,500 whiskies including 1863 (yes) to 2000 vintages all over the world!

An here ive chosen the Lochside. Closed Highland distillery since 1992.

Nose: Spices. Pepper. Nutmeg. Fruity notes. With a little savoury, like seawater.

Taste: Spicy definitely, punchy. Pepper and a hint of ginger.

Finish: Lingers pretty long, spicy and also a little zesty.

A rare unique taste of the old distilleries. A whole different experience to what the modern distilleries offer.

A well done Eggs Benedict. Poached Eggs done right. The gooey richness of the yolk and delicate nature of the whites, awesome! Bacon is on the leaner side. The buttermilk bread muffin is something I have nvr eated. Savoury, salty, sweet all in one! Nice and fluffy. The Dijon Hollandaise sause is pretty well done. Creamy yet not too thick.

Overall a pretty good combination! Satisfying meal indeed.

2 Scrambled Eggs done well. Smoked Bacon oily and fat, yumms! Garlic Mushrooms were quite meh thou, prefer white button mushrooms. Roasted Cherry Tomatoes were well done. Soft but not mashed on the inside. Maple Sausage are well, normal breakfast sausages. Potato Hash was pretty well done, nice crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. Sourdough Toast with jam was awesome!

Abit on the pricier side but i will come back for it!

Think-base tom yum soup, on the creamy side.
Sour and spicy, with a heavy note of lemongrass.

Includes a bunch of ingredients. Prawns, squid, fish slices and a godly onsen egg! On with instant noodles.

A nice hot meal with a generous portion in a cold evening. Nice.

Am very sad that they ran out of stock for king crab meat. But they did replace it with snow crab instead. Ah well.. This dish originally consist of 2 huge prawns, snow crab, king crab stick, scallop, oyster and squid! Topped with ikura! Plenty of it.

The tempura is not the normal batter. This has seaweed powder in it! Very tasty, very savoury!

Out of all i would say the snow crab and scallop was amazing, sweet and juicy! Although i think the king crab stick might be the better one, but they ran out of it.

MUST TRY! Huge and generous portions with premium ingredients! Will be back for this 100%. #japanese
