I honestly thought you could rarely go wrong with big breakfast but omg the sausage is so incredibly dry. The only moisture from the dish was probably the oil from the parmaham, scrambled eggs and the salad dressing. Couldn’t finish this plate and I always. finish. (expensive) food.

If you’re looking for slightly acidic coffee, this is a great outlet for a chill pill sesh. TBB always never disappoints with its ambience and it’s pastries + coffee pairing.

Okay I know the main is the beef cheek itself and it is pretty good (although too fatty for my liking..) BUT can we just talk about the oven-baked kale??? I was just sold!

Barramundi was so-so. Slightly disappointing as I was expecting a smoother texture but this was overly chewy to my liking. Not a fish expert so it could just be the way barramundi is meant to be. The salad however was refreshing and balanced out the heaviness of the fish.
I gotta say though, the storefront blended well into its surroundings that I was slightly awed by the pretty ambience inside. It’s definitely a good place to hide from the sun and the crowd.

Decent dessert I guess, although honestly it just is an overpriced dish. Shared among us 4 and it was just too little to go around. Nice ambience though.

Ordered this online and received this at work. Truly a saviour that couldn’t come at a better time. Creamy, rich and smooth. Indulgence on a hot Wednesday afternoon ❤️

Apparently the signature dish for this outlet. A big MEH to this, very average. The red onions were overpowering and I hate it that I had to scoop the soup by navigating around those annoying condiments everyone could do less of. Broth was fragrant but the taste just wasn’t my cup of tea. The meat was tender and delicately sliced - objectively a good bowl of well-executed ramen, the taste however just did not appeal to me.

So happy we beat the crowd and only queued 20 minutes for this Michelin-starred restaurant. I gotta admit I was skeptical and approached this with low expectations (I also want to add a caveat I am not a super big fan of ramen) but was pleasantly surprised by the fragrant broth and bouncy noodles. I came to find out the noodles were handmade (with the pleasure of the original chef himself!) and the soup was probably boiled for God-knows-how-long.
Hopefully the original chef successfully passes on his amazing skills to the practicing chefs here in Singapore. For the affordable price, it lives up to the hype!

Meat truly fell off the bone so freaking easily. It came with beetroot sides which was an AMAZING pairing. I don’t know what to say but I guess this is why it’s priced at $36

Sufficiently rich and creamy - a staple that really never disappoints! I loved how the sourdough bread softens with the mushroom sauce, making it such a hearty mouthful. The tanginess of the sundried tomatoes (I think) along with the creamy sauce was a perfect pairing!

Tender pork and creamy scrambled eggs, though the pork is a touch too peppery for my liking. Sourdough bread is on point (as usual).
