Fatburger {$7.90 - $15.90} Patties were a tad dry and I found myself drinking a lot of water throughout the day even though there wasn’t any overwhelming taste of salt. Add cheese for that much needed moisture and flavour. Not a bad burger overall, though nothing significantly different from other burger joints.

A chocolate laden tower of indulgence, complete with crushed chocolate and chocolate balls for extra crunch and sweetness {$9+}. Do not attempt this alone!

Prawn and Spinach Aglio Olio Linguine {$19+} remained piping hot even after 5 - 10 minutes (good news for finicky food photography enthusiasts). Linguine was perfectly al debate, with a touch of earthy flavours from the spinach purée. An otherwise perfect dish that was sadly marred by less than fresh prawns (change your prawn supplier LOTS!)

As highlighted by another review, the quality of the food far surpasses the kiosk’s cramped location. Go for the Premium Lobster with Mentaiko Sauce for an intense umami bomb with a hint of sweet lobster meat, or get a taste of our local delights with the Crab Rolls and SG Chilli Sauce. Atmosphere is a little hectic from the neighbouring Chinese restaurant so I do hope they find a spot of their own soon for their yummy lobster rolls!

It looks like an entree, except it’s not. Finally made my way to Non Entree, the home of trippy desserts in Singapore. The Nasi Lemak looks quirky in plating but does a pretty good job of sticking to its local roots flavour wise.

There’s nothing not to love about meals at Ng Ah Sio. Aside from the rich, peppery broth that is packed with flavour in every spoonful, the meat simply falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. Plus points for fresh tasting vegetables on the side too! You also get mee suah along with your Bak Kut Teh, a fairly uncommon sight in Singapore.

{#MEDIA} Have you always wanted to watch your dessert go up in flames? Butter’s Chocolate Cloud starts out as an innocent looking, whimsical cloud of popcorn studded cotton candy that eventually descends under a fiery Absinthe concoction to reveal a peanut butter covered mound of chocolate ice cream. A decadent treat that is pleasing both on the eyes and the tastebuds.

{#MEDIA} Sous vide poached fish served atop lime potato risotto and encrusted with fried beancurd puffs and edible flowers. This intense umami bomb was insanely rich, and its complex textures and flavours made it the highlight of my night at Butter.

Kaisendon by the one and only Teppei Syokudo! It’s been a solid three years since I last stepped into this atas food court and this remains one of the better performing stalls in terms of taste and value.
