is a thing. Love that there's 50% off many of their sushi and sashimi, and the salmon sashimi comes in thick slices and is absolutely fresh. Plus, at $6, is a steal and a highlight of the meal. Pair it with some cold soba and its a great way to end the evening.

Plus, it's rare to find other dining spots open at 830pm on a weekday. Last order closes at 845pm

Still our trusty jap curry go-to, as it's portion is huge and the bed of omelette eggs matched with curry and meat just serves. Cheese is a must have for us. ($16.30)

(Ps. We also enjoyed the Tako balls although it isn't the most crispy, but for $3.80 for 6? Yess)

Spacious and inviting, this place serves up quite a broad range of brunch food - and at nett prices!

Pancakes cravings are met here and it's topped with creamy, overflowing eggs. Add on that dash of honey, butter and it makes a perfect brunch. ($6.50). Would love to come back to try their mushroom omelette, or their sourdough and bakes!

Plus they have books here too. (Although the music may be a bit loud for reading)

I'm sold when they told me this Seafood Fantasy is in tomato cream and comes with scallops! prawns! and also crabmeat. Absolutely biased towards tomato cream. And for $12.80? Makes a pretty good deal.

Ain't just good for it's curry 🍛

A place you can assured to return to with crowd pleasing food, first time here to this landmark cafe, and we were blessed with:

- Seafood Linguine (lobster bisque & seared scallops) - $26.50
- Avocado Superfood Green Platter (so clean and unbelievably tasty with broccoli, kale, spinach, avocado) -$22
- Cod fish & chips (a classic nailed, with huge serving of fries) -$22

Will be tough to choose which is my favourite, because they're all well done

Maybe overdramatic until you try this french toast, crisp brioche toast exterior matched with its warm, melty eggy body, crusty banana and Greek yogurt. Plus points for some dainty flower petals. This proved that French toast isn't just for breakfast as we had it for post dinner dessert. ($22) 🍞

Unique wokhei porridge that serves every bite with a punch of flavours, it's consistently creamy and has a Klang bakkuteh taste to it. Plus, it's served piping hot and I love the crispy bits in it. $5.90 for the one with sliced pork 👍🥇

Been on a Korean roll, and spoilt for choice at o.bba jjajang. The jjm craving is met with their QQ noodles, but a pity it didn't come piping hot. Nevertheless, the caramelized onions are delightful. The jampong seafood noodles was also generous with it's seafood like prawn, mussels and does have a spicy kick to it (perfect for cold days)

Not a fan of the tangsuyuk which has more flour than we prefer. ($50 for this full set, and it comes with our hard boiled egg, lots of side dishes and favourite melona ice cream 🍈🍦)

Perched on the forth floor, this rooftop bar felt spacious and offers some unique mezze starters. My favourites go to the whitefish baits (crisp and paired with sumac and harissa yoghurt for $18), baked havarti cheese with pita bread ($22).

Of course, topping all these with bubbly prosecco, which is $14 during happy hours. HH is 5-8pm daily

The classic cheese burger wasn't as juicy as we hoped and came with slighty cold fries. The brioche bun was nicely toasted and fluffy ($28). For burpple one for one, it's really worth it.

Count on the bonito flakes to deliver the savoury punch, and when mixed with the eggy goodness, generous prawn bits and haebihiam chili, makes it rich and decadent - and also somewhat like a more sophisticated version of meepok with spice. Love the alfresco vibes here with the sun shining in 🌞

Absolutely rich, immersed in the eggy goodness and the pasta is slurp worthy ($18). The ambience is nice as we're surrounded by lush greenery.

The truffle pasta with parma ($21) was decent too, with the parma ham being a bomb of flavours.
