📍Wu Lao Lao
The signature ban mian was pretty decent, especially the chilli, suggest to take more of the chilli flakes to add-on the flavours.
The noodle was not too soft or hard, and the oozing egg yolk is a must~
Overall, decent lunch at CBD area.

📍Boon Tong Kee Chicken Rice (Smith St)
The chicken is pretty nice, tender and having that jelly-like collagen underneath the skin, the rice is also quite on point, but apart from these, the rest of the dishes are rather disappointing.
For the price, there are better ones out there.

📍Keming Bing Sat 克銘冰室
The char siew rice was decent, lean meat and fats ratio are just right, sauce is a little towards the sweet side, goes well with the egg, kailan (underneath the egg) and rice.
Find the toast and cute egglets a little overpriced, can skip the toast for it tasted norm, same for the egglets but at least the egglets are instagramworthy.
Lemon tea according to my fren, taste a little diluted, while I found the milk tea just nice, and not too sweet…
Overall, decent, can try but not worth queuing.

📍Keisuke Ramen (Orchid Hotel)
- Red Spicy Tonkotsu (Special)🍜
Went for lighter soup base, less oil and hard noodle (yes, you can customise your order)…
Decent ramen, comfy food, standard still maintains after years since I last had it…
Free flow hard boiled eggs and beanspouts are always welcomed, nice sides~

📍Together & (Duxton)
- Flat White☕️
Decent flat white, medium roasted I would think, nutty finish, not bad at all…
Nice cosy cafe, there’s a workspace, friendly barista, instagrammable too…

📍Lao Huo Tang (Seletar Mall)
- Buddha Jump Over Wall 佛跳牆🍲
- Deep Fried Grouper in Black Bean Sauce 香脆豆豉石斑魚🐟
- Handmade Deep Fried Prawn Roll 手工脆皮蝦棗🧆
- Stir-fry French Beans with Minced Meat 乾煸四季豆🥙
- Sweet & Sour Pork 咕嚕肉🍖
- Marmite Chicken 媽蜜雞🍗
- Crispy Cereal Prawn Ball 麥片蝦球🍤
- Fried Rice with Chinese Sausage 臘味炒飯🥡
The soup is great but the portion is a bit small, probably cater for 2-3 pax.
The fish is decent but thought it is a little salty cos of the starchy black bean sauce, would prefer if the sauce could be less starchy and less salty.
The prawn roll is quite disappointing, not crispy and not springy as I expected it to be, suggest to skip this.
Similarly, for the french bean and sweet and sour pork, not that fantastic, french bean is quite dry and not as flavourful, the sauce for the sweet and sour pork is also not on point, can taste abit of the pork gamey smell, can skip.
Marmite chicken is good, flavourful, crispy coating, can order this.
Cereal prawn is decent, but pretty small portion.
Fried rice is surprisingly not bad, we ordered 2 plates of it.
Note: The serving is pretty small, each plate like serves 2-3 pax only, hence, find it a little pricey for the portion. Would go elsewhere for better quality food.

Like the char/roasted nutty tea leaves taste, warm and comforting…

📍Bebek Goreng Pak Ndut (Lucky Plaza)
- Bebek Goreng Nasi (Crispy Fried Duck Rice)🍖
- Tahu Telur (Fried Egg & Tofu)🍳
Like the crispy fried duck, find it crispy but yet not as dry as I expected it to be, easily detached from the bone, the tempeh and side (tofu and cherry tomato) are good to refresh the palate and neutralise the spiciness from the chilli (pretty spicy I must say)…
The rice is kinda soft to my likings…
The tahu telur is a must-order, fried egg and tofu with the prawn paste rojak-like sauce is da bomb, yum!
Do expect a long queue during lunch hour…

📍Dubai Shawarma (Oxley Tower)
- Chicken Kebab (Wrap)🌯
Got the spicy one, which I guess is from the black pepper, added some kick to the chicken kebab, and it’s quite filling too (wrap with chicken kebab, various veg and some spice), not bad for a lunch option~
Around 8 seats outside the shop that was shared among the eateries there I guess…

📍Koufu (Nanyang Polytechnic)
- Mala Xiang Guo🥘
Medium spicy level, not bad at all! Pretty spicy but less spicy as compared to a McSpicy. The saltiness and spiciness are quite on point, got that kick that is. Felt a bit lacking of that numbing sensation, but overall worth trying.
Damage: $11.95 (enough for two pax)
