We were hungry enough to try the meat platter that serving size is 4 to 5 persons. The meats and ribs were all tasty. Honourable mentions are the bacon, ribs and mash potato. Bacon came in a slab which is a rare sight for me. Ribs are done very well as it took little effort to strip the tender meat off the bone. Mash potato creamy and fluffy. So I had a good meal with all the super heroes.

Once I opened the box, I was assaulted by the fragrance of the chicken. Skin crispy, meat tender and rice is right texture. Chicken was not salty. Had drank their soup on another occasion and it's one of the best chicken soups.

Weekday set lunch at $12++. Burger was tall and needed some squashing to fit the mouth, or eaten in 2 parts. Beef cooked as per request.

Priced at $9.90 as a main. I could have added on $3.90 to make it a set meal with soup and a drink but I was not that hungry.

Crispy on the outside and juicy tender on the inside for the deep fried fish. Goes well with the malt vinegar recommended by the staff. Mash was smooth and creamy with a light taste to the gravy sauce.

Ranging from around $6 to $25 per dish. Had the olive fried rice, steamed sea bass, tom yum soup and barbecue pork chops. Fried rice has the wok taste and rice texture still grain like but soft. Seafood tom yum soup has the sour spicy flavour and seafood fresh. Steamed fish cooked just right with light seasoning that includes chilli and lime. Pork chop tender and juicy, pairs well with the sauce.

At Tea Festival 2017. Love the way the lemon custard cuts through the light fluffy tea sponge cake. The cake sweetness is just right and amount of cream not to feel it's too heavy.

Tried the Soya Bean with Gula Melaka (Malacca) drink at $1.30. Can understand why they label the coconut sugar from Malacca as it is a very thick syrup. Once mixed thoroughly with soya bean milk the drink colour changes from white to light brown milk tea colour. The sweet taste of gula melaka comes through, giving it the oomph.

Priced $24 plus for this set meal with rice and soup. The sear on the toro and salmon adds extra texture to the meal. The fish is very fresh and the sushi rice has seaweed and sesame seeds.

About RM 120 in total. Steamed freshwater fish done just right. Even though there are chilli, after scrapping the seeds away, it was not too spicy. Pig knuckle meat tears off easily and skin melts in your mouth. Potato leaves were wok fried with deep fried garlic and tasted fresh.

Had a mix of ala carte and executive lunch set. The octopus was cooked just right and was nice and juicy, not hard and chewy. Beef was cooked to our preference. Only down side is that the chips were a tad too salty for our liking (we prefer lightly salted food). Price range about S$40.

Has a slight chewy texture and crispy grilled skin adding a crunch. As serving size is more than a person, best to have company to eat this!
