Hors d'oeuvre Nara. Platter of Thai fishcakes, pandan chicken, and chicken skewers. Especially love the tender chunks of chicken that had soaked up the fragrance of pandan leaves. #thaifood #pandanchicken #satay #fishcake #foodporn #sgfood #ilovemyjob #burpple
Gai Phad Kra Pao. Classic Thai dish of stir-fried minced chicken with basil and chilli - not spicy enough for my liking. #basilchicken #thaifood #sgfood #narathaisg #foodporn #ilovemyjob #burpple
One word: satisfaction. 😊👍
Curls of shrimp and squid with green onion, fried in a light pancake batter until crispy on the surfaces.
Chilled tubs of chocolate infused with green tea, red wine, and my favourite - rum.

Probably the four best items on the buffet menu.
This is the lava cake of cheeses, with a 50% cream interior that gives the buffalo mozzarella its gooey texture in the middle. Topped with fragrant pesto and dolloped onto crispy buttered toast, it really can't get any better... Until you add $3 more for 6 lashings of salt in the form of prosciutto.
Can't remember what the sauce was (I think it could be bearnaise), but that's secondary, really, when it's under that fine slab of grilled beef. Succulent and a little fatty and altogether just absolutely delish.
With the distinct taste of iron that a solid piece of medium-rare steak should have, and lots of beef jus to pump up the meaty flavour. Waiter advised us to go for 350g (for two pax), but I'm glad we stuck to a 175g serving because that's really good enough (amongst other dishes) for 2-3 people.
