The carbonara and burger as recommended by the staff was pretty decent but no wow factor. Truffle fries and truffle mushroom soup was also normal. Have had better ones.

A modification of the usual Katong Laksa. The hae bi taste is just right, together with the Nonya Otah which costs only $0.60! My laksa craving is satisfied!
Everyone's making a bee line to try this famous soft serve and obviously, I had to join! I tried the 'organic cotton candy affagato'. The soft serve was thick- almost having the same consistency as a gelato in my opinion. It is then topped with cotton candy, with hot espresso poured over and topped with more cotton candy. The coffee tones down the sweetness, which I like. I feel that it's pretty pricey for a small cup, and not really cream of the crop (as mentioned in my title!), but still deserving enough as a treat! 🍦
The super-value-for-money, 5-course set lunch ($28.80++) includes your choice of dessert from five options: espresso creme brûlée (my pick!), pistachio panna cotta, poached pear with gelato, huai san jello, and homemade cake of the day.

Latest restaurant to blow me away is this tapas bar opened by one Michelin-starred chef Nandu Jubany and helmed by former Foodbar Dada head chef Jordi Noguera and ex-Catalyuna bar manager Dario Knox. Food starts from $6 and cocktails from $12 – way lower than what I'd expect to pay for such a colourful and exciting menu.
Surprise, surprise. Who knew this about CSH??? I never cared for their food, because i felt like they pretty much were just focused on doing Papa Palheta beans justice.. Anyone knows how they are? The sweet potato one sounds particularly intriguing.

They're having a student lunch promotion now with every student pass present at the counter, your lunch buffet only cost $12.90(++).
Selection of many different marinated meats like (Chicken, Beef & Pork) and other savories cooked food as well as the standard greens at the side. This is not the best Korean BBQ I've tried but it is a place to consider when you are in need of a place to have Korean BBQ for your convenience! 😄
