Try them, they don't look or taste anywhere as squeamish as they sound. The braised pig's head has been prepared in such a way that it looks just like typical meat. But I must say, it's extra moist, flavourful and very tender; contrasting nicely with the crunchy coating. Pour the light and sweet quince sauce over the croquettes and let it soak for a bit before eating.
This is the kind of pancakes that, with your first bite, make your eyes widen in surprise then close in blissful pleasure. They may look like messy blobs but trust me, they are the best tasting messy blobs ever. Texture-wise, they are very soft and light. Served with assorted berries, a cinnamon creme fraiche and some finely-chopped mint (at least, that's what I think it was), this will hit the sweet spot if you are in the mood for something that isn't full-on savoury.
I had the fruits pancakes and my mum and dad had the breakfast set ad it was all worth it! Happiness is a cup of good coffee and a good book and this place definitely is one of my top on my life because I love reading with a cup of coffee! This is a must-to-go cafe if you're looking for one to enjoy a good breakfast or for some tea!
I like to come by here once in a while, plonk myself on their cozy couch and attempt to read books. I used to love their honey mustard chicken burger but since that's off the menu (why??) I had the chipolata & bacon breakfast, which was average. Ordering the lychee frosty is a ritual for me. They don't serve fantastic food but the atmosphere is enough to keep customers hooked.
Nice environment , pretty comfy . Love the ice lemon tea
If I could wake up to something sweet, it'd be this thick block of honeyed pain de mie with toasty surfaces and crisp edges, topped with yoghurt ice cream and fresh berries. Sooooooo goooooood.
Made with yeast, this chocolatey waffle has a bread-like quality, almost like a chocolate bun. What's yummy: the chocolate chips hidden in the waffle itself so there's an unexpected element of crunch. What's not: the rubbery marshmallows. Overall, I'm not a huge fan and would much rather have their savoury waffle with scrambled eggs, bacon and cream or their amazeballs honey toast.
The prettiest icy treats I've ever seen, these come in assorted fruit sorbet flavours, embedded with whole slices of fruit. A pick-me-up for any grump!
At Spathe, communal dining is where it's at. We're talking about their Mammoth SIgnatures: think metre-long sausages and pizzas. Quality is definitely not compromised by quantity here. Popular favourites include the Belgian Waffle & Fried Chicken and Sous Vide Octopus Salad. As Burppler Jean Teo put it, Spathe has '... a great vibe and ambience for friends catchup and romantic dinners.', perfect for large groups.
Moroccan Baked Eggs at Toby's Estate. ^^ Spiced chili con carne (beef) with kidney beans, chorizo sausage, mushrooms, espresso maple bacon and sourdough.
Don't be deceived by the small pan of baked eggs, you will be so stuffed when you are half way through it! Quite a good dish to explore if you like beef. ♡
