Zilan Nasi Ayam

Yums. Great chilli as always, little meat as always.

A shadow of itself. Maybe circuit breaker they changed the cook? Everything was bad. Rice was lame, meat was dry and bland, even their famous chilli was so-so only.

This version of mee goreng is definitely different from others. The whole dish is covered with egg and chilli sauce. Just like its nasi goreng there’s wok hei which makes it way into your nostrils as you eat. Taste is excellent too.

Well fried rice with wok hei from a Muslim stall no less. Am very impressed with the skill executed by the chef. The ikan billis are crispy as expected. Overall very yummy.

Shiok. Meat fried well, although quite small. Chilli is incredible. Rice is competent enough.

I’ve tried the nasi goreng ikan billis and nasi ayam goreng separately but this really takes the cake. The wok hei of this stall is undeniably good. I’d seen the chef fried rice before and he’s just as good if not even better than a lot Chinese chefs. The ayam goreng is of course their signature dish. So the combination is great.
