My favourite is no other than the 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐠𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐯𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐧! Bite into fluffy exterior and here come the velvety and savoury Salted Egg Lava oozing out! Always my favourite dim sum! 𝐏𝐚𝐧-𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐁𝐮𝐧 were also soft with little crispness on the outside. 𝐏𝐚𝐧-𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐤𝐞 a nice dessert to have during Chinese New Year as it symbolise prosperity! It is soft with a little chewy texture with a very thin batter on it.

Ordered the overpriced pineapple tarts out of curiosity (S$2 each, or S$5 for two with a coffee/tea) - yes, there's real salted-egg crumbs mixed into the filling, but somewhat dry and really nothing memorable at all. Just stick with their regular Teh and toasts 😝

It is without a doubt that my favorite day of the week is Sunday. Blessed week everyone!

First off, there’s alot of Japanese options and one which I tried was this eatery which specializes in Okowa !

If you didn’t know, Okowa is “Japanese steamed rice dish made with glutinous rice mixed with meat or vegetables” and this stall “Jugoya Yonehachi” was established in 1976 and has more than 90 shops across Japan.

4 type of Okowa available here such as Salmon, Iberico Pork, Scallop & Sansai! Pair them up with delightful sides that comes in sets like the:
