For DC Mall-goers, this casual restaurant decked out in rattan chairs and pillows offers a relaxing respite amidst the office blocks. Grain bowls are what to come for, whether you're with a group of colleagues or a few friends. To begin with, choose from 10-grain rice, couscous, or quinoa with pearl barley for a base. If you enjoy the prominent flavours of Middle Eastern spices, go for the couscous alongside Moroccan Lamb Tagine (RM25). The lush lamb tagine and chickpeas blend well with fine couscous for flavourful mouthfuls, and the occasional burst of juicy pomegranate seeds gives the dish an uplifting edge. A crowd favourite here is the Korean Spiced Beef (RM22), best paired with 10-grain rice. Redolent of sesame fragrance, the bulgogi-like dish is balanced with pickled carrots, cucumbers and a fried egg to boot. For now, lunch comes with a complimentary iced tea. Expect service to be warm and friendly, as the founders man the counter to offer their own recommendations!

This is a new eatery located in DC Mall, Damansara City. You first choose your grain (Brown Rice, Ten-Grain Rice, Quinoa with Pearl Barley and Couscous), then select what to go with it. I had the Moroccan-style lamb tagine. For those who are not sure of what lamb tagine is, you can think of it as 'Lamb Rendang'-Moroccan style (RM 25) for a well-balanced delicious meal. Their set lunch also comes with 1 unsweetened iced-lemon tea.

Healthy food with a little twist! Who said that healthy food must always be salad? ๐Ÿ˜ Located at the quiet Damansara City Mall (Level 1), most of people will just skip the quiet upper floor and settle for brunch spot in LG floor... but I tell you what, this is a real hidden gem! Decorated in mostly white themed interiors with lots of hanging plants on top and swing chairs, makes it a cosy hang out spot after meal. While waiting for your food to be served (it doesn't take too long), you could have Jenga or Uno session with your friends, or zone out yourself with some magazines located at the counter :)

They have unique choices of healthy food that are combined with a little twist of fusion food. You can basically choose your favourite grains that range from brown rice, 10 grain rice, quinoa with pearled barley and couscous. Then they have 2 different serving portion "micro" and "macro". When dilemma strikes, the owner are more than happy to suggest their best selling dishes to you.

We ended up ordering Moroccan Lamb Tagine with brown rice (RM25). It was a really special dish I would say. Lamb Tagine is basically taste like Malay Beef Rendang, the twist is the addition of pomegranate, dried cranberry and dried apricot. Pomegranate gives you the burst of sour taste, whereby the cranberry and apricot give out the sweet flavour hint to the dish. Combined with the "rendang" taste and chickpeas, it leaves you with the perfect combination of all sweet, sour, salty and umami taste. However I think they could work on to give more dried cranberry and apricot (in my preference) ๐Ÿ˜†

Their Korean Spiced Beef (RM22) is also one of their best dish and it's ain't your usual Korean bibimbap. Served with pickled carrot, cucumber and pan fried egg. We got this dish with quinoa and pearled barley, it was a good grain choice to be paired with this dish. The Spiced Beef is not spicy at all in my opinion and this dish has a quite strong sesame oil taste (it tastes abit ginger-ish to me at first, only to find out that it's actually sesame oil ๐Ÿ˜‚).

If you order their lunch set, it'll come with complementary iced tea that is served in a glass jar and metal straw (yes, metal straw!) ๐Ÿ˜

Overall: it's a good place to eat healthy food that is not boring. Price is also reasonably affordable ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
