Had a satisfying KBBQ dinner at The House Cheongdam. Ordered House Feast Set 1 with boneless short ribs, marinated short ribs, and brisket. Comes with soybean soup, steamed egg, and refillable kimchi and veggies. Flavors were authentic, felt just like dining in Korea. Great service and cozy atmosphere.
this was suuuuch a delicious meal! had the 2 pax beef set which the staff would cook for you in-person. meat was so smooth and melt in your mouth 🥰 also added on the cold noodles which on first glance looks like any other but it was full of flavour and super tangy chewy noodles. really enjoyed this meal so much, such an underrated korean place amidst all the competition in the area!
We had a great meal at The House Chungdam. The House Feast 1 set for 2 was amazing, with delicious boneless short rib, marinated short rib, and thinly sliced brisket. The meats were tender and flavorful. We also got refillable sides like kimchi, lettuce, and radish, which were great. Plus, the steamed egg and soy bean soup were yummy. Overall, the food was excellent, and we'd definitely recommend The House Chungdam!
Look at the marbling!! This was a great find in TJPG and definitely would be somewhere you can go for a special occasion.
The food is really great - from side dishes to main courses, there wasn’t any disappointment.
If you're craving an elevated Korean BBQ experience, The House Chung Dam serves it up with finesse and fire.
We went for the House Feast, featuring a decadent trio: boneless short ribs, marinated short rib, and thinly sliced brisket. The highlight? The attentive staff grilling each cut tableside to perfection—locking in those juicy, smoky flavors while letting us sit back and savor the aroma. The boneless short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender, the marinated ones had a beautifully balanced sweetness, and the brisket was delightfully crisp around the edges.
We also added pork jowl, which had a rich, fatty bite—crispy on the outside, buttery inside. It paired incredibly well with the array of banchan and dipping sauces.
To round off the meal, we tried both types of noodles: the Bibim Noodles were refreshingly spicy and tangy, with a great chewy texture and generous slices of beef and greens. The Cold Buckwheat Noodles (Mul Naengmyeon) were light and clean, offering the perfect palate cleanser—served in a chilled, savory broth topped with radish, egg, and slivers of beef.
From presentation to service, The House Chung Dam nails the modern K-BBQ vibe. It’s a little on the premium end, but every bite and moment felt worth it.
Verdict: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Come hungry, leave happy—and smelling gloriously of charcoal and sizzling meat.
Amazing dining experience with yummy food and stunning interior 🥰 Recommend getting the house feast and cold buckwheat noodles!! 😋🫶🏻 Banchan and lettuce/perilla leaves were refillable as well ~
