Basically the bread platter but less bread but half price when you order ala carte. It's much more worth it to me
Sourdough was avg, even tho I tot the bacon leek one. It's just too mild
Honey wholewheat was alright
The nut butter was entirely solid but quite soft, not v sweet at all
Overall it's okay
Pastry cream inside, the exterior is extremely crispy and buttery while interior is fluffy, and the salted caramel is strong
Portion is quite tiny which is good but it's abit annoying how they only have one flavour at any one time? Or maybe I just went at a bad time
Quite a good rendition, incredibly crispy skin, there's some chew, and the molten choc was nice too. I think this is normal but the choc isn't too much
But what stole our hearts was the ๐ฃ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ผ ๐๐๐ฏ๐ฒ ($6.50). Sweet, tangy pineapple mango cream oozed out seductively as the croissant cube was sliced apart, and the medley of flavours was exceptional.
The limited-time ๐ก๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ผ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ ($6.50) is full of Chinese New Year vibes! The slices of crunchy yam on top of a slab of sticky nian gao, all sandwiched in a crispy, flakey croissant, offered excellent textural contrast.
The Butter Croissant and the Almond Croissant are two of the most popular items, so ordering one of the croissant sandwiches was a logical choice. If there are no eggs, it's not a good breakfast. Thus I picked the ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ด๐ด๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐.
The butter croissant was crispy outside and fluffy inside. Its buttery aroma was also very apparent, making it more palatable. The scrambled eggs were soft and creamy, its flavour enhanced by a dash of black pepper. This dish ticked all the boxes and I would definitely order it again.
The ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ ๐ช๐ต๐ถ๐๐ฒ ($5.50) was smooth and medium-bodied. If it's a little bit stronger, it would've been ideal. Bonus points go to the two tiny chocolate chip cookies served with the coffee. Crunchy and delicious, they balanced out the bitterness of the coffee.
