There are many great places serving Thai food but TNH is one of my all time favourites. Been visiting them 10+ years ago since I was a secondary school kid, back in the days where we could get a beef noodle soup for $4.50 as student price. Now the prices have shot up to $10 but all things considered, the food is still amazingly great and the portions are huge!
I always order the beef noodles or Tom yam noodles and the quality is consistently 💯 The homely vibes are ever as present 10 years ago till now
Really worth the money.
The never ending bowl of meat.
Filled with pork, chicken, fish ball, abalone mushrooms
I couldn't finish all the meat and I was filled.
Crunchy, crispy and fragant dish with fried garlic. Each prawn was juicy but 15$ for 6 prawns? Rather overpriced
Look at the bouncy prawns!! Just from the quantity and quality of prawns you wouldnt believe this is actually one of the less value for money dishes(mainly cos the other dishes are so superb as well), but still this delivers in terms of taste. With a sweet crustacean flavour, the tanghoon was good enough to eat on its own but it goes well with anything else on the menu as well, esp soaked in soup e.g. green curry. Can easily feed 3 if you order other dishes to go with it.
Super fragrant, thick and creamy, it's hard to understand why anyone would dislike this(dat one person on the table who doesnt like this :'( ) flavourful enough to go with rice, yet light enough to drink alone, this is one of the best green curries imo and it goes so well with the tanghoon
As promised i went back to try this lol. A really hearty and filling lunch. Pork was just so tender and the gravy was sweet. Chili's tanginess managed to cut through the pork's richness and and surprisingly it wasnt very fatty. Comfort food at it's best
(A bigger version without the rice as a side costs 12nett if u want to share)
PS apparently water is chargeable at 20cents not sure if this was always the case.
