Thai Food
Golden Banana used to be rather popular at Golden Mile Complex, and like a few other F&B establishments from there have now shifted to City Gate.
Now situated on 2nd storey of City gate, golden banana is certainly a must have for me. Everytime before I leave city gate, I will definitely get a packet of golden banana.
Taste almost like Goreng pisang that is much sweeter and crisper. Shiok!
Formerly known as Dee Tongue Thai when they were operating at Golden Mile.
Im-Em thai Kitchen is a very popular thai restaurant here at Aperial mall, with crowds and queues during lunch time.
The 1 thing that's consistent for the 2 dishes I had here, is their generous portion of ingredients. There was about 4 prawns and almost felt like an entire sotong was cooked in this tom yam soup.
The soup was damn shiok, and I almost drank finish the entire pot by myself. Flavourful and a little spicy, the soup was infused with the taste of fresh seasfood

With additional $2, u can add on a fluffy thai Omelette, which taste damn awesome and totally worth the additional $2
The thai Basil Pork Rice was also good and value for money, very generous minced meat portions, unlike many other thai restaurants I had been to.
Thai Basil Pork can never go wrong at any thai restaurant.
Having eaten at their far east outlet previously many years ago, already know that their food surely is good.
Drunken Noodle is a must have here, its like machiam Basil Pork with Kway Teow.
Very Spicy and very Shiok. The minced pork was also cooked just right, it was juicy and not over-cooked whatsoever. And the entire dish had an evident of wok-hei as well.
Baan Kanom Thai recently opened here at ARC380. And already seems very popular with the weekday lunch crowd. And place gets filled rather quickly.
One of the best thing about their menu, is that u can add a side of creamy egg Omelette to any of your main menu dishes. Which I duly did.
The phad thai itself was flavourful & spicy, tasted good and with the creamy egg Omelette thrown on top, wow, tasted like a perfect combination.
Will return again for thier Pandan pancakes which are the most popular menu item here at Baan Kanom Thai.
Hom Tang Kitchen is a recently opened thai establishment here at Sunset Way. Located next to the multi storey carpark staircase exit.
Phad thai here is really not bad. Not the best thai food u will ever have, but certainly passable.
Had the $8 Portion
Can choose from (Pork/Chicken/Seafood)
Soup tasted good but missing that kick of spiciness.
Seafood was fresh.
Was looking for food around Tiong Bahru after 8.30pm, TBFC most shop already closed.
Walked pass Little Elephant, and decided to give it a try.
This place is almost like a non-aircon coffee shop setting. Saw quite alot of tables filled with patrons. So food must be rather good here.
1) Tom Yam Prawn Creamy Soup- this was very good, flavourful, spicy and I can drink this non stop all night, but too much of such good stuff, I will be "de-toxing" the whole night. Seafood was fresh.
2) Basil Pork- nothing really fantastic, I would recommend to skip this entirely, there was nothing good about this I could salvage.

Have been a big fan of Soi Thai since they first opened at Tampines.
Their basil pork still damn good, got consistency. Unlike got Thai food places, where u got lots of big red chilli and onions and basil leaves, soi thai version here is filled with lots and lots of minced pork meat.
$9 is inclusive of GST. And with a drink somemore.
Ah Loy Thai is my favourite Thai food place ever. Have been patronising them for the longest time.
For a Thai restaurant to flourish, the basic requirement, is that the Tom Yam Soup must be good. And the Tom Yam soup here is damn good.
Seafood is fresh. Soup was damn flavourful and spicy.
Gets very very packed during dinner. There will be long queue outside waiting to come in.

One of their popular dish, is the Pandan Chicken. Chicken well-ly marinated, fresh and tender.
