Soi 19 Thai Wanton Mee (The Metropolis)

The Noodles were great in the pork lard mixture, savoury yet not greasy. Char siew was reasonably tender too, and quite generous. Soup was decent but wanton were average

decent meal, many corporate people come here for lunch 👍🏻 pricey abt 10-12/pax. drinks and sides r good esp spam fries. portion big. 7/10

The signature springy egg noodles comes with fried wanton, fish sausages and char siew. While my favourite remains the original Thai version 🫶 you can also opt for the black sauce one for an even more flavourful rendition 🖤

Didn’t expect to see this new item ($13.20). A tad greasy 😅

NGL couldn't taste squid here (?) Not sure if the squid was too small/ too soft such that there wasn't any squid texture/ bite other than the batter itself.

This was quite greasy sadly, and didn't really have much crab flavour.
