Thai Fuuuuud
Both the Kai Lan & mushrooms weren't as fragrant & flavourful as expected, as I've had much better Kai Lan from other Thai stores.
Was sadly kinda disappointed as food was overall pretty eh, or it just didn't hit the mark of impressing :-(

Expected the pineapple fried rice to be served in a pineapple fruit because of the menu photos, but in reality it's just served on a plate. Presentation aside, it didn't live up to the expectations of a good pineapple fried rice.
This was just alright, with nothing much to shout about.
Although it was q crispy, I couldn't really taste much garlic flavours - in fact, the pepper taste was more prominent here. Not a fan of the flavour.
Bookmarked this place sometime ago, and also because there were pretty high reviews on Google so I decided to check them out for dinner!
Fried omelette ($8)
Slightly crispy and fluffy at the edges, altho it isn't the best imo - not the most flavourful I've had. Much prefer the one from Ah Loy Thai tbh.
NGL couldn't taste squid here (?) Not sure if the squid was too small/ too soft such that there wasn't any squid texture/ bite other than the batter itself.
This was quite greasy sadly, and didn't really have much crab flavour.
This was also quite nice actually, it's basically charsiew that's not dry, and I liked the sticky sweet sauce that coated the pork (although it may be too sweet for some, but I personally liked this).
Oh this was really crispy and another side worth ordering! A really addictive one as well.
Hands down my favourite side - most of us loved it so much we had 2 plates of this! Each fish sausage was just so flavourful, and kind of "crispy", with a really nice bite. Definitely an addictive one.
Tbh more like curry rice than pao fan, as you don't get any fried rice bits nor the soup you'd expect from paofan - this was more like curry over rice. Regardless, a comforting one.
This indeed had a strong and sour Assam flavour, which was pretty interesting. For those who love asam, you'd prob enjoy this!
