Roast Pork, Roast Duck Rice Wanted to order Roast Duck, Char Siew Rice but got served this instead; didn't realized it till I got to my table. The roast pork wasn't really spectacular in any case; definitely better than average though a tad lean but comes with crisp skin. Roast duck was flavourful; savoury and coming with a really crisp skin that crackles with every bite. The people behind the stall seemed a tad unfriendly though; the uncle at the stall asked an auntie if she wanted gravy and while she said no, he insisted on having gravy because "it is impossible to eat it without the gravy" and just kept shaking his head ...

Eggs + fats fast Day 3, doing pretty well!😅Finally got the chance to try this when nobody is queuing!The Q would be quite crazy during meal times though. $8 worth of roasted meat. The char siew is better than the roast pork as I find the latter too lean and dry. Now I have to try Foong Kee to see which is better!

Still the best CKT in Singapore for me, Outram park fried kway teow. The fried kway teow flavourful, not overly sweet, moist and not dry, all balanced with moderate wok hei. Char Kway Teow The never-ending queue is the reason why this has been on my wish list forever. I knew it was finally time for me to try when I was early on a weekday morning for work. This has got to be one of the shiokiest CKT in SG. The CKT served here leans towards sweet and savoury with a good amount of crunchy bean sprouts in there. Very sinful and definitely worth the cholesterol 》$4

Bkt Impressed by how quickly they'd notice your soup level and would always continue refilling your soup, until you tell them to stop. This place is defo for those who love peppery bkt, and the youtiao was prob the star of the meal 🤭.

Homemade Fried Crispy Seafood Ball ($3.80) Tbh tasted more like a fishcake than a ngoh hiang - this was just okok for me.

You Tiao ($2.30 each) My must-get with BKT, and this one here was crispy! It was really well-enjoyed we ordered 2 bowls of this hahahaa. I really loved pairing it with the peppery soup, or to even have it on its own when it's crispy.

Not a deal Burpple indicated discount for a “main dish” so we ordered from a variety thinking that at least one of them will be a “Main Dish” - turned out that “Main Dish” means the ”Staple Food” - fried rice, fried kway teow etc Food is OK - would consider going back for the baked sea snails if not for that bad experience. PS Burpple/Daniu - please correct the term; cannot expect diner to correlate your “主食” = “main dish” when on your menu it says “Staple Food” If you look up the dictionary, “main dish” in standard English means “the main course in a meal”
