Named for the Indian Harvest Festival (Sankranti or Pongal) which marks the end of winter and the coming of spring, this family-run brand has been serving tasty and authentic South Indian dishes since January 2008.
.
Their rendition has a creamy thick curry, almost like a stew, with mild but pleasant sweet savoury spice flavours, a touch towards the sweeter side as compared to elsewhere.
.
The hard-boiled eggs within are bouncy soft, with good eggy sweet flavour. Yum.

Not the most flavourful plate of briyani i have ever had. The rice lack fragrance from the spices but the chicken is still tender. The curry served is average. In overall, this is a slightly below average fix for briyani cravings. Price wise, at the higher side since its a restaurant, approximately 12 dollars for a plate.
Found this restaurant next to Mustafa centre by accident.
Ordered the Bhojanam meal, so that you enjoy all kind of palatable curries in one go: pappu, vepudu, sambar, curd & dessert, the list goes on... Maybe next time will come here for some Indian beer and Gobi Manchurian😜 (Photo: Bhojanam meal ($10++)) #indianfood #thalimeal #sankranti #jdkungfoodhunt #singapore #burpple #foodsingapore
