Walked past this place at Plaza Parkroyal without knowing its existence and just decided walk in to try their Banh Mi pretty randomly. Turns out this was pretty satisfying — apart from the lack of crispness, the bread has a satisfying pull with every bite while coming with carrots, pickled vegetables, cucumbers and roast pork. Every bite carries a familiar crunch, meatiness and smokiness from the pork and an umami flavour from fish sauce with a lot of bite from the generous portion of chunky pork. The lady behind the counter seemed pretty passionate and hospitable, asking for feedback on the food and seemed to be enjoying the process of preparing them. A humble eatery that carries positive
vibes with pretty decent food that's pretty much a gem known only to the office folks nearby.
