I still rmb my first time and I loved it. Second time and brought along a couple of friends. I still preferred the flavour profile of the drinks earlier on though. Maybe it’s just my preference. Each drink cost 20 bucks. Lovely and friendly staff
Off the menu items:baked brie/camembert w maple pecan and sourdough, pastrami sandwich, baby back ribs(Sunday only)
It's decent, but the wait is really long. 30-40mins I think. Flavours were quite mild, kind of like pulled pork without sauce tbh. I gotta say the waitstaff were v charismatic, lovely people.
The spicy cheese sauce wasn't v spicy, bread could be a bit airier and crispier.
I’ve always been a fan of Jay and Des and when they set up Sago House, I knew I was in for a treat. The cocktails were all wonderful, so much attention to detail (and also all downed before I could take a proper picture) and their food, oh my god. This steak sandwich with a slightly spicy cheese sauce was amazing. Angels singing kind of amazing. I’m not even a bread/sandwich person but I finished this in minutes. My companion finished his in seconds. Do yourself a favour and hit me up. You won’t be disappointed :)
Cocktail fan? You have to check out the Sago House in Chinatown. Launched by veterans of the drinks industry (Spiffy Dapper founder Abhishek Cherian George, Monkey Shoulder Brand Ambassador Jay Gray, and former EC Proof sales specialist Desiree Jane), this is where you'll find tipples with a cheeky twist. The menu ($16 onwards) changes every week, but you can expect drinks similar to the Honey I'm Homeless for a blend of Scotch, green apple, and chamomile vanilla tea, as well as {Insert Generic Tiki Name} with cucumber gin, passionfruit tea, and gasp, toasted marshmallow!

Awesome Tiki style cocktail ($16) that's part of their weekly rotation. This one has brandy, Jamaican rum, OP rum, sloe gin, berry tea, orange juice, and passionfruit syrup. It's a whole lot of things mixed together, but damn if it doesn't taste good!
