Not that much more expensive than Yoshinoya, but you get incredible value in this bowl! Perfectly marinated slices of beef that are delightfully tender. The juice literally drips into the rice, coating it with flavor and every mouthful packs a punch. The portion of beef is super generous, and despite the bowl looking small, you are almost certain to be satiated when you reach the end of it.

Flabbergasted by the dish. Missing the memory of Shizuoka unagi ever since I came back from Japan and this place nails it. The unagi was so fatty and might have been even better than the ones at Shizuoka even if I may be honest. Pics for illustration only lol the menu clearly shows two halves but whatever the taste redeems any disappointment

It's 6 measly slices for 15bucks but at least the glaze and the onsen egg made the rice edible on its own. Nothing too special about the duck either except that it's smoky

One day, I forgot that Sushiro was closed on Tuesdays and made a whole journey to Thomson Plaza only to be greeted by a closed outlet. Thankfully, their sister branch, which sells cooked meat/fish rice bowls (located at their old spot) was open! Sadly however, this dish was quite a disappointment. The rice was drenched in teriyaki sauce and the whole dish was just rather salty in all with the mentaiko sauce, which really just mostly tasted like mayo instead.

Look at dat generous heap of beef tho. The onsen egg was runny which helped the don taste less dry, since it did not come with miso soup.

This place used to be called Takumi by Sushiro. It is now rebranded and known as Ryori by Sushiro. They only serve cooked dons here. If you're looking for bara chirashi don, head the the actual Sushiro outlet.

Seating is very limited, but that's ok cos at dinner time the restaurant (or should I say food stall?) isn't even half filled. You order and pay via a touchscreen cashier and food is promptly served. No accompanying miso soup, just whatever don you ordered.
