Prata platter
We saw a photo with murtabak and prata and thought that was the platter but it turned out to be this. As we ordered this with the RK special, we really weren't sure which is which when they put both plates in front of us. Essentially they are kind of the same thing - shredded prata, two eggs and mutton. But this one comes with additional chicken bites as well. Overall not bad but unsure if will order again.
RK special
Recommended by a friend and wasnt sure what it was even when they put the plate down in front of us. Apparently it's shredded prata with two eggs and muttons. It's quite good actually.
The way my dad’s eyes and mine widened at this bombastic plate…the curry a tsunami or wtv💀🥘 but it’s significantly more flavourful and spicier (and warmer👀) than the usual ones served with prata!
You can expect a hearty meal of 2 plain prata doused in mutton curry, sambal🌶, tandoori chicken, mutton and soft boiled eggs🤤🤰🏻
However, I saw others paying
Came here on an early Saturday afternoon for our prata fix! Luckily it wasn’t too busy so we managed to get a seat for three. Prata was slightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Curry was alright.
We also ordered Milo Dinosaur and Teh Bing, both which were great as well.
What I like about this place is that it was very cooling. We were sitting, eating spicy food in the afternoon, but I still felt very cool and there was hardly any sweat on me!
Chuupppppppppp! Usually I’d give 10/10 for anything that resembles more of a swimming pool than a plate of food. This is still good, don’t get me wrong. But I think soft boiled egg + plain prata cannot compete with a good old egg prata. (Rating: 😬)
Favourite go too for a lazy day would be from this shop available on grabfood in hougang area.
Highly recommend everything on their menu as its reasonably cheap and delicious for lazy day like this.
Maggi Goreng is one of the best I have tried in Singapore.
