Niku King Ramen and egg rice are great. I’m there for the broth on crack and free flow eggs with mayo
Fluffy egg on rice which looks way too appetising with surprise pork bits beneath. A small bowl but honestly very worth it if you’re not a big eater and want to order more sides. While the egg was indeed fluffy and slightly runny, the entire bowl lacked flavour. But for the price and the free condiments they give at the side - chilli powder, mayonnaise, and even bean sprouts, you can easily solve the problem to make a whole new dish of your own!

Niku King Tonkotsu Ramen
Special comes with tontoro, Marinated egg(theirs is pretty good), seaweed
The tontoro was smoky and had a decent texture but hardly crispy. Doesnt have much under lying umami tho
Soup was alright, typical keisuke standard. Noodles were not the best. 8 pcs of loin were pretty good, quite tender and flavourful despite it being lean
Overall not too bad
Although there is a rather huge variety of ramen types to choose from in the menu, I find myself going back to my default, the Black Spicy Tonkutsu Ramen ($12.80), because it is this satisfying and heartwarming. What makes me come back to this place again and again is really the broth. The Tonkutsu broth itself is filled heavily with umami from the long hours of boiling pork bones. I love how thick and rich the soup is! The already complex yet beautiful flavours of the broth is further enhanced by the black garlicky peppery sauce, which further intensified the umami flavours and gave the soup a light kick.
The ramen noodles were al dente and definitely soaked up the wonderful broth. The char siu is also worth a mention, as it was slightly charred and had a good ratio of meat and fat.
Been tasting this for years and the standard remains high. This will continue to be my favourite ramen 😍
A safe pick - the ramen was springy, the pork bone broth was silky and full of flavour. The place has free flow bean sprouts and hard boiled eggs as well. For this price, I think this bowl and its unlimited accompaniments is very worth it!
No wonder there are always snaking long queues during dinner times - fortunately we came at about 6pm, right before the crowds started filling in, so we didn’t need to queue at all.
This is somewhere I’d definitely go to if I’m starving!
