Newly opened last month, so we went to try. Pretty huge serving and tasted quite authentic and delicious! The beef is tender and the mix of mushrooms and peppers is great. Plus you can choose from 3 types of cheese, and they have a more than a dozen of different hot Tabasco sauces for you to choose. Haha. Just a bit expensive at $19.
Originally I wanted to get the burger but my colleague persuaded me to get the cheesesteak instead. For $17, this is a good and satisfying meal to give me a good taste of Philly's favorite food. Another colleague of mine said that this was quite authentic so I believe this is even more worth it to eat.
Even though I've been to Philly...I've actually not had a Philadelphia cheesesteak before 😪 So nothing else to compare this against save for my imagination and technical understanding unfortunately. Roll's chewy and nicely toasted, though I'd have liked a slightly crisp exterior; sliced ribeye's generous, juicy, and moist; and then oooh that gooey and salty cheese whiz. Our Fully Loaded ($18) came jam-packed with jalapeños, sautéed shrooms, caramelised onions, and green peppers, and is definitely filling for one. Given all that goodness, my only peeve is...WAI MY 🧀 SO LITTLE 😩😩😩😩 (Psst, location tag ain't up yet so don't refer to this random location tag!)
