Love this plate of kway Teow! It’s not too oily, and yet there’s this aromatics of wok-hey smell in each bite. Comes with fresh prawns and ingredients too. One of my favourite from paparich
Kids favourite. They love the curry gravy and papadum. But portion is huge. Between 2 kids and me, we stuffed ourself.
Pretty expensive chicken rice but I prefer my usual hawker style
Food looks nice, crowded during meal times, curry chicken was good, sambal prawns are fresh. Overall 6/10.
Bad: the rice
1) rice not enough( when u eat briyani at coffee shops, the rice is overflow) here is like half a bowl at the most
2) the rice was dry and hard(maybe I was the last customer, and rice was scrapped from bottom of cooker?)
Not bad... but not a signature dish yet (means nothing special) Strong soup broth, prawn was a bit dry instead of juicy/crunchy, no chilli powder 😶, decent portion.
Even though the word "Rich" is not seen on this item in the menu, the Pappa Prawn Mee (S$10.90) is always a recommended mains I will tell any other diner coming here for the first time. The broth continues to be big in taste and rich in flavour. Sipping it with the other ingredients really gives me a very shiok feeling.
My other friends who had a spoonful of the broth say that they will order this the next time. Quite telling huh...
