Zhup Zhup

Missed One Prawn n Co but their new Zhup Zhup is not bad too! Portion is huge and the ngoh hiang is still as good! But just something missing from the glorious One Prawn days. Overall still a great meal with my favorite Supreme Prawn noodle.

Har Cheong Gai ($11 / 5 pcs)
Piping hot, golden, and gloriously crisp on the outside, while juicy and tender within. The marinade of fermented shrimp paste gave each bite a savoury, fragrant punch. Crunchy, succulent, and utterly addictive—classic har cheong gai done right.

Jumbo Prawn Hokkien Mee ($38 / 1–2 pax)
Awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand for the fourth year running in the 2025 Michelin Guide Singapore, expect an elevated take on the hawker classic. See plump, fresh-tasting jumbo prawns, saucy strands, pork slices, and crispy pork lard all simmered in a rich prawn broth. The noodles were smoky, perfectly stir-fried, and had a great texture (not too soft or mushy). Flavourful but not too jelak.

Jumbo Prawn Paofan ($42 / 1–2 pax)
A true showstopper that arrived still bubbling at the table. The broth—a decadent yellow-orange—was bold, brimming with seafoody umami, and rich without being overwhelming. Packed with clams, fried egg floss, and jumbo prawns, the claypot was comforting, hearty, and shiok to the very last spoonful. Psst, you can get one free soup refill 🥣—a great value add apart from their already highly acclaimed prawn noodles.

Decided to try out Zhup Zhup after hearing about it online and it did not disappoint!

We tried the supreme noodles which boasted hotpot broth rich in flavour and was packed with pork ribs, lala and prawns. Customers get to choose from the standard variety of noodles, which can be served dry or with soup - both were equally delicious!

The ngoh hiang also had good variety to complement the noodles, and the drinks were refreshing for a sunny afternoon.

Perfect meal to have on a cool evening! Thoroughly enjoyed both the orders. The classic prawn noodles soup had a thick tasty broth and the kwayteow was soft yet chewy. Shout out to the classic prawn soup with pork ribs - it had a sweet lingering taste on top of the already delicious broth. The prawns were also fresh and the ribs were tender. The coffee shop space is also newly renovated making it comfortable and clean to dine at. Will recommend!
