tried the hokkien mee, zhup zhup supreme and a ngor hiang tasting platter (not in picture 😅)

it was served piping hot in the claypot, and the soup was light and super flavourful with a signature prawn broth flavour in the zhup zhup supreme with super tender pork ribs

the hokkien mee is super flavourful with a hearty sauce, and crispy ngor hiang and a super crispy prawn cracker that goes well dipped in the soup!

Tried the zhup zhup supreme and hokkien mee. Flavours were amazing - chewy texture of the hokkien mee and the prawn broth soup that packed an umami punch. The pork was also tender and meaty with generous amounts of prawns and clams.

Went for dinner at Zhup Zhup on Saturday and both my partner and I really enjoyed the meal! We had the pork ribs and prawn prawn noodle, along with the prawn hokkien mee, century egg, ngoh hiang and fried tofu! They also gave us a complimentary in-house made prawn crackers! The broth of the prawn noodles was very prawn-y in the best way, with it being with gao but not too thick or thin. Kept going back for the broth! Plus, the pork rib was so tender, literally teared away from the bone so easily and was not tough, one of the best pork ribs ive had in a while. The hokkien mee also had that wok hey i like in my hokkien mee and prawns all around were really fresh. The tofu was crispy outside and very silky and smooth inside while still having a bit of chew inside. Noodle portion was also very generous! Highly recommend giving Zhup zhup a visit!

I really enjoyed the depth of flavour the dishes have here, it’s unlike anything I had ever tried before. We drank the soup till the very last drop 😁

The umaminess of each dish really shines through each dish, and the prawn flavour is so pronounced- it’s worthy of being called a “PRAWN” noodle. We could taste the dedication and love they have for the food they serve, plus the service was great!

I will be back definitely 💯

The ngoh hiang had a satisfying crunch with a juicy filling, and every dish was full of flavour. A great place for anyone craving comforting local food. The supreme prawn noodle I ordered was so delicious as well and for my first time visit, I must say i am impressed. Will definitely be back for more in the future.

We ordered the prawn and pork ribs noodles and it certainly did not disappoint. The prawn broth was incredibly rich and flavourful, with a natural sweetness that showcased the freshness of the prawns. The prawns were plump, succulent and perfectly cooked, while the pork ribs were generously sized and tender. The dry prawn noodles was sweet, savoury with a hint of spice and generously topped with pork lard that added an irresistible umami. We also enjoyed a platter of ngoh hiang, with the prawn cracker and fishcake being our favourites for their crispy texture and flavour. Overall, a satisfying meal!
