got to try the supreme soup with dry noodles and the noodles were so good on its own, but even more enhanced by the aromatic soup. every aspect was done well, the prawns and clams were large, but an unexpected highlight was the pork ribs. super tender!!! also highly recommend the ngoh hiang sides too, itβs crispy and not too salty!!
The Prawn broth overall was creamy and aromatic! Very filling with the portion provided, especially the pork ribs super tender! Also quite enjoyed their shell seafood which were pretty sweet to suck. Other than their food, will also recommend trying their homemade drinks, not too sweet yet refreshing!
The claypot Hokkien mee had a slight wok hei and savoury prawn broth coating the noodles, comforting but not as smoky as Iβd hoped.
The supreme prawn noodle in dry version came with vegs, fried shallots and crispy pork lard. The broth was silky and umami-rich with pork ribs, clams, tobiko prawn balls and pork slices but I personally prefer a fuller-bodied prawn soup with stronger punch. The chilli with the dry noodles didnβt quite deliver that shiok kick, though the toppings added nice variety.
Good bowls with plenty going on but for me the flavours didnβt fully live up to the hype.
Supreme Prawn Noodle γ$20
Classic Hokkien Mee γ$15
Prawn broth was rich and tasty. I had the seafood pao fan which was served boiling hot with several fresh prawns and lala and it was so yummy and hearty! Side dishes and service were also good. Would recommend to try!
One of the most flavourful prawn soups I've had! The broth was just so rich and full of depth. Would also recommend the sotong you tiao, crunhcy on the outisde and super flavourful
zhup zhup supreme, very value for money! lots of noodles and ingredients. felt super full after the meal. they served the ingredients in another claypot bowl and my stomach was full of delicious soup! which they very nicely helped us to refill.
