Food - We got the Spicy Lobster Triple Chirashi ($24.80) and the Spicy Dashi Chirashi. Portion-wise, was more than decent for those with smaller appetites. Taste-wise, it was nice but slowly became very cloying mid-way through, plus the seafood wasn't the best in terms of quality and freshness.
Service - While the food was served quickly, it was hard to get the staffs' attention. It took me close to 2min just to signal someone to come over to refill the soy sauce.
Ambience - Space was pretty small and very echoey. You can pretty much expect an uncomfortable din throughout your meal.

Also, remember to make a reservation before heading down! I made mine while walking over from the MRT, and pretty much just strolled in. Those in the queue I think had to wait for about 30min+, so save yourself the trouble.

pretty good
enjoyed this more than the don
the cheese dip is either too mild or there's actually no cheese in it.

satisfying and filling.
not exactly premium ingredients but considered worth it for the price.

@omote.sg comes to many people's minds when they crave for good Japanese food, and similarly I went there to satisfy my sashimi cravings and left really satisfied 😍

The Upsized Chirashi ($22.80) had a heaping about of seasoned sashimi pieces and you get a good variety of salmon, tuna, swordfish, octopus and so on. The pieces were rather chunky and fresh and I adored how fatty the salmon pieces were. Interestingly, I felt like there was too much sashimi than I could handle; perhaps I should have gone for the normal sized bowl instead 😂

Do add on their lunch set ($8.80) as it really completes the meal with more thick salmon sashimi pieces, appetisers, soup and dessert! They were pretty generous with their amounts and we left extremely stuffed.

Definitely a good treat for the fellow sashimi lovers!

Udon in bonito dashi soup, topped with seaweed, tempura flakes, and spring onion. There's also a poached egg as well as slices of sweet fried tofu. A decent bowl of Udon and the portions aren't skimpy either. A little too expensive in my opinion though.

A mound of cubed seafood including salmon, tuna, octopus, and plenty more, all marinated in a savoury roasted soy marinade for a sweet-savoury umami goodness. Nothing to complain about. Love it!
