The layered pastry was really thin, supremely crunchy and had a nice bite, the custard was pleasant too

Overall quite solid, worth a try if you see it

Remember passing this place a couple of times and finally get to drop by to grab some of their signature egg tarts.

You get to choose from the mini or standard size, or I would recommend you getting both.

The mini size could be finish in one bite, crusty skin with smooth filling in between. The same goes to their standard size as well.

Madeleine's is by far one of the best Portuguese egg tarts in Singapore.

This bite size egg tarts are perfect for sharing and it's easier and less messier to eat.

The egg pudding itself has always been very good.

The Portuguese egg tarts here are almost similar to a Crème brûlée, with a caramelised top burnt to perfection and a creamy centre. The sides have over 20 fluffy layers of crust, which yields a satisfying crunch with every bite and enough to have you wanting more of these tarts. The egg custard filling is melt-in-your-mouth soft where we simply can’t stop at just one.

The small egg tarts come in a box of 12, perfect for sharing among family and friends or get the normal-sized tarts that come in a box of 6.
