By far, the best kaya toast I ever had.
The ratio of kaya & butter was precisionly just right.
Every table of hokkien mee, will have a plate of these awesome Kaya toast.
Just be ready for the long waiting time, for the hokkien mee, as well as for the Kaya Butter Toast.

Good Day Bakery located within Clementi Central Area, is a Taiwanese Bakery that has been opened around 6 months now.
My MiL swears by this place, the bread here are always soft and taste good, whether if its sweet or savoury.
One of My favourite here is the Yogurt Cream Bun. Best eaten warm, the sweet and sour Yogurt cream just matches the soft white bread so well.
From bottom left, clockwise:
1) Cheese Tarts
2) Yogurt Cream Buns
3) Floss Toast
4) Twisted Donuts
One of my favourite bakeries in SG, pullman is a Japanese bakery with a few outlets around Singapore.
Their breads have always been of good quality for me, and each trip here will always end up with me buying lots of bread. They all look so good and taste so good.
Some of the breads I like here are:
1) Kaya Milk stick
2) Choco Chip Melon
3) Caramel Crossiant
4) Cream Donut
5) Twist Donut
Basically an awesome Custard filled donut.
They have a variety of French pastries here, and all look damn awesome.
The chou chou is Sinful and a must have here at choupinette. Which are basically donuts.
Full sandwich $16
Eat it while it's hot. The truffle, cheese and crispy toast is the perfect combination.
Had this during artbox and couldn't resist having it again.
Tsui Wah is a place I always frequent whenever I visit Hong Kong previously. This is the first time I am having it in Singapore, even thought they have entered Singapore for quite some time already.
Food here is at a premium price, tasted quite good though.
A great place for family gathering.
Bolo Bun with Butter- Good, but nothing really special, some bakery in Singapore have better Bolo Buns
Crispy Bun with Condensed Milk - Crispy. But price was rather excessive.
Kagoshima Style Braised Pork Cartilage Noodles - Meat was soft and Tender
King prawns in XO sauce with Tossed Noodles - Prawns fresh and bouncy.

Braised Pork Belly, with hand roasted peanuts, pickles & coriander.
This Gua Bao is a must have here at Abundance.
The braised pork belly was damn soft and felt like it melted in my mouth. The coriander wasn't so overpowering as I thought it would. The roasted peanuts added a subtle sweetness to the entire dish.
And to "add insult to Injury", the bread had a sweetness to it, like those mantou u have with chilli crab. Felt like u were eating a steam cake like bread.
Although look very big, actually can finish rather fast, and eat as an add-on to your mains if u feeling hungry.
Overall I would rate this 4.2/5
Having earmarked their original outlet at Redhill by myself to visit, was glad that they open an outlet near my workplace, for my convinience to try their food.
Burrple Beyond 1for1 at $7.50.
Located within burpple food street, New deli bakery serves up various great looking breads, like crossiants, and various types of spirals.
Decided to have the triple Chocolate Spiral since it was 1for1. Rich in chocolate in every bite, plus the crustiness of the Spiral, make this a rather enjoyable eat.
Brought some home that day, reheated it in microwave, it's still so crispy.
So even if u damn full, just utilise your 1for1 and da pao this home.
New Deli bakery main store is located along Macpherson Road, but are only opened for 3-4 hours per day, 5 days a week.
Bakery Brera, located within the Old empress Road HDB estate. This bakery bakes out European style bread.
Having read so many good reviews and watched a YouTube video on them, was pretty keen to try their bread and decided to get their signature cruffins and Kouign Amman.
Cruffins and the amman were great. But what really wowed me was their banana loaf. The banana loaf was nice and moist inside with a slightly crusty exterior. The smell and the taste if the banana loaf totally blown me away
The Junbo Crab melts is certainly 1 dish that catches my attention.
It certainly looks very good.
Bread was slightly toasted, cheese was quite good. Crab meat was ok.
Overall 3/5
Tong Ah Eating house used to be located at the iconic building just down the road at the V junction of Keong Saik and Teck Lim Road. And have been around since 1934.
Interior also has a very old school feel to it.
Although famous for their crispy kaya toast, they do whip up good zhi char dishes as well.
Their crispy kaya toast was rather good, just very old school style.
