Hawker Eats × Ngoh Hiang 五香虾饼
I came to this coffee shop for wanton mee and noticed this wu xiang xia bing stall located in the same coffee shop. The prices here are not cheap and taste quite average. Contrary to the good reviews I see online, mine seems to differ. Not sure if it was because we ordered almost an hour before closing but the oil used to fry these items doesn’t look clean. It has been overused too many times resulting in a dark shade almost burnt colour on the ingredients. It was also too oily for me to truly enjoy my order 😟 》$9
Just like the other prawn noodle stalls run by the Lee family, there is a wu xiang xia bing stall located within the same premises where customers usually order some of these to complete their meal. The sauces were good and I like how it did not turn out oily at all 》$5.50

Ordered some ngoh hiang to snack and feed my stomach while waiting for my L32 handmade noodles from the same coffee shop. The prawn crackers from this stall are irresistibly crispy and crunchy with sprinkles of peanut over the dish 》$8
Traditional Teochew style ngoh hiang selections that are best eaten with savoury-sweet chilli sauce. We ordered fish deli, fish cake, ngoh hiang (meat roll) and bean sprout fritter which came well executed and not overly oily. It goes well dipping it into the sweet chilli sauce 》$7.60
》$6
My friend recommended that I should have this instead of BCM. I tried and I didn't quite like it. I feel that the sauce has a weird sweet and sour combination which doesn't quite suit my taste buds. I am regretting that I did not get my BCM 》$6.40

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
