Everything Italian!

Well, it was quite plain and nothing spectacular. Tomato was tangy but basic. For a simple dish like this, I expected the tomato sauce to be the star, especially being recommended this dish by the staff. However, I was not impressed at all. It feels like a dish you are better off cooking at home on your own.

Came back for this pizza, thought i would give it another shot. Generous amount of buratta cheese but bland tomato sauce makes the pizza overall plain, plain and very very plain.

A delightful combination of the egg, mentaiko and seaweed. It is not very jerlat and the sauce is very well balanced between thick and thin. The pasta is made al dente which gels sweetly with the sauce. Overall, an absolute wonder !

Really worth trying if you have the burpple discount as it is light and quite enjoyable. However, i wouldn’t say it’s worth $24. It will only be worth to have this pizza while enjoying the 1 for 1 deal. Taste wise? Not very cheesy and well balanced by the light tomato paste. I think that the pesto goes especially well with this pizza, which provides the saltiness to the pizza ( which may otherwise be a tad too bland). Overall, not very jerlat (despite the huge amount of cheese) and quite a decent plate of pizza. Nothing spectacular though. Just a good, decent honest pizza.
