Living up to the reputation of one of their most popular dishes, the 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐬 ($𝟏𝟔) was incredible. The plump mussels bathed in the Indian curry, that held a lingering spicy kick, and a tang of sourness. The bold flavours of the curry went well with the pillowy soft mantous, with an impressively crisp exterior.

a comforting bowl of 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐛 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨 ($𝟐𝟔), with meaty pieces of fresh prawn. The firm indication of a good risotto in texture, consistency and flavour was there. However, the addition of the runny egg made it a bit too rich and overpowering, considering that the portion of risotto was rather small to begin with.

The 𝐏𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬 ($𝟐𝟐) was a clashing of strong flavours that somehow still managed to agree with each other. The dish included a rich assam broth, strong caramelised pumpkin seeds, longtong and bitter charred vegetable. I wish the seabass was a touch more tender, but overall it was an interesting dish that was put together well.

As with all the seafood here, the fish in the 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 ($𝟐𝟕) was fresh. Perfectly cooked, the light flavours of the delicate grouper allowed the broth to shine through. Thankfully so, as the broth was incredible, with Chinese-oriented flavours that were rich but still light on the palette.
