Had an enjoyable meal here with good food and quiet ambience. The shop is in a corner so even though it’s not walled up, it still feels private. Had this truffle pasta thing which had a really fragrant truffle smell but only tasted okay. Also got the seafood marinara pasta which took a while to come and was nothing special honestly. The minced beef pizza was really good though, and the crust was crispy and well cooked. Lava cake was acceptable.
I had high expectations coming in here because of the name. The food did not disappoint.
Extremely tasty “Italian nachos” which was cheese that was crispy on the outside and topped with even more cheese and came with this tasty chilli like sauce. Extremely good.
Had two pastas for sharing - the octopus ravioli and the prawn linguine. Both were top notch, although the linguine could have been a little too thick.
Lava cake dessert was icing on the top. Perfect molten centre and great ice cream with pistachio nuts.
We got three dishes: the braised beef pasta, tomato crab meat pasta and the honey roasted chicken.
Braised beef pasta was fantastic because of the beef which melted in our mouths, and the unique sauce that was added to it. The pasta was a little bit too hard though, and could have been softer.
The tomato crab meat pasta was a little too acidic and was not very special but was overall enjoyable. The honey roasted chicken was aptly cooked as well.
We enjoyed the meal very well and will definitely go back again for the food and especially the beef.
