Original Katong Laksa Small ($4.50)
-
Thick bee hoon, prawns, rice cake, laksa soup, chilli
-
For the laksa, they are known for cutting their noodles short so you would only need spoon π₯ to eat it. No need for chopsticks! Itβs a pretty ok laska. I donβt eat enough laksa to know if its heavenly or normal but its not bad la.
-
Verdict: I wonβt especially travel there to eat those but if Iβm nearby
-
Ps: the laksa stall only open till 5:30pm
Wanton Noodles no.1 ($5)
-
Noodles, char siew(roasted pork), fried wanton, steamed dumpling, veggie (idk what veggie is it tho π), sauce
-
First thing first, I just want you guys to appreciate the dark sauce brushed on the plate!! π I thought it was the plate design and of course, my itchy hand went to touch itπ
but no, they did it themselves! π¨ How cool is that!
-
The noodles are cooked just the way I liked it, half cooked? Like the inside of the noodle is still kinda uncooked so when you bite it, you will get that satisfying biteπ€ͺπ

I also really liked their char siew, its pretty good! Noodle portion is quite sizeable. The fried wanton is oily, you can taste the oil and Iβm not a fan of oily food. Overall pretty decent!π
-
Verdict: I wonβt especially travel there to eat those but if Iβm nearby, I will go back to try the wanton noodle stallβs otah!π¬
-
Ps: the wanton stall is closed every monday and opens only until 4:30pm
