Brimming with ingredients and soup, we immediately dived into the bowl and found irregular-shaped noodles that are freshly torn by hand on the spot. Each piece was smooth and had the right amount of consistency. We especially love the soup which was really savoury, although it did get a little salty towards the end.

This dish seems to be an improved version of cereal prawns with an additional sweetness and savouriness of what I'm usually used to. The curry leaves and egg floss contributed to the very essence of this deep fried prawn dish. There were also some chilli padi hidden amidst the prawns, giving surprising bursts of spiciness when we least expected it.

It was so mindblowingly good and cheap (RM35) that we came back twice just for it! Definitely a must-try in Langkawi.

Sizzling away on a hot rack, the ultimate meat on a stick were grilled to a medium-rare doneness with a perfect pinkish hue in the centre.

Infused with their delectable homemade marinade, the tender meat was loaded with flavour. The marinade helped to distribute the juices well throughout the meat.

The fats are always my favourite part of the dish 😉 They were slightly crispy and the aromatic flavour was dancing around in our mouth. Each bite oozed perfectly well with the smokey flesh of the lamb.

Needless to say, we were simply awed by their beautifully succulent Fried Snapper (RM115) ☺

The flesh flakes off nicely and each mouthful was firm to the bite. Drenched with a thick layer of ginger soy sauce, it lent a spicy-tangy kick to the fish. An amalgamation of the tartness from the citrus together with the sweet delicate flavour of snapper and crunchy texture from deep-frying is created as a result. We were so impressed by how the skin crunched so beautifully together with the fresh and tender flesh.

If you are wondering what the orange pieces are, they are actually carrot slices which helped to cut through the rich flavour of the dish.
