This felt like a salad I would get at a free flow salad bar, because it contains sooo much ingredients! There’s a huge variety of vegetables, such as baby spinach, kale, broccoli, purple cabbage, pumpkin, cucumber etc. and it had quinoa, smashed avocado and hummus too! The pomegranate seeds and cashew nuts added a nice crunch. This was really filling and I like how every bite was different as there’s so many textures and flavours in a single dish.
Kith Cafe has really big portion sizes! This salad was a mix of crunchy salad greens, kale, walnut, cucumber, Roma tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, feta cheese, roasted garlic and tahini dressing. While this was really filling and tasty, I felt that it was quite pricey, especially since there was no meat. You have to add $5 for marinated chicken or smoked salmon, or $1 for $2 for 1 poached egg.
Haakon is my go-to place for acai bows! 😋 The classic acai bowl comes with chia seed parfait, homemade granola, coconut flakes and loads of fresh fruits!! The fruits they serve are seasonal and we had mango(!!) in addition to the usual banana, strawberry, blueberries and dragonfruit! I love their homemade granola, and it provides a nice crunch. Overall, this is a really good and filling acai bowl! Perfect if you’re looking for something healthy and yummy in town 👍🏼
This was quite a decent bowl for the price! You have a choice of 2 proteins, 4 toppings and a sauce for $9.90. I highly recommend the beef (very flavourful and tender), but the chicken was a little dry. They have a wide variety of toppings and sauces as well.
Jewel has so many healthy food options! This was Prive’s Norwegian Salmon Poke Bowl, which contains
brown rice, salmon sashimi, topped with a variety of vegetables and ginger-soy sesame dressing. I love how fresh the sashimi was, but the portions could have been bigger. Do note that seating here is very limited! We were given seats upstairs which had very small tables and was very hot and sunny in the afternoon.
Located on the 5th floor of Jewel, Aloha Poke is one of the many food options available here. We had a choice of a base, protein and two sides. I chose salmon in wasabi mayo sauce, with tamago and avocado as my sides and it was really good! The sashimi was fresh, but I couldn’t really taste the wasabi mayo flavor. Their portions are good though!!

Healthy vegan bento box which comes with two additional sides (I chose mushroom and broccoli!) The vegetables were flavourful and crunchy as well! Good if you want something filling, but not too heavy. However, the price was rather steep ($6.50), and you could get something similar for cheaper at the caifan store 🤔
