Another dapao so pardon the ugly photo (parking is so hard to get at Golden Mile!!). This hidden gem on the 2nd floor is from the stall Amoy Street Lor Mee (ironically) but it has a long queue and for a good reason!!
The lor mee zhap is thick gooey and everything you could want in this noodle dish and the toppings are even better! Check out the size of the fish chunks that is eclipsing the large pieces of fried ngoh hiang and slices of pork belly! For $4, this was an absolute steal and the flavour has me craving more! They also have a $3 without fish but trust me, the $1 for fish is so worth it!!
Remember to add lots of vinegar and garlic to complement the dish and you have a real winner #burpple #burpplesg #lormee
Dapaoed this so it doesn’t look the most appetising but its such an interesting Hokkien mee as I’ve never had this dry-style before! It received approval from Food King and many other reviews so I decided to give it a go and it’s good!! Not Super mind-blowing but there is definitely wok hei in every bite and the noodles are full of umami flavour as every strand of noodle has soaked up the seafood stock and the dish boasts a delicious heady aroma of prawns and seafood!! Heads up: the Chili is SUPER SPICY!!!! So be careful about adding too much! I went at 10am on a Monday and there was no queue! Definitely worth the $4 and the wait
